Yes, Dr. Tim, we should sing Psalms. Only in Hebrew if that's your native tongue. Check this out: tinysa.com/sermon/1128101850448

1 Cor 6 11: "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."

Re: a whole host of sins including "effeminate," and "abusers of themselves with mankind," the text says such WERE, not are.

Period. End of story.

True Christians stuggle with sin, but our view of sin has to match God's view of sin. If God says something is sinful, it's sinful. The Church is to be a bulwark of truth and should never cave to the world's view of right and wrong. The conference must be a stinking scent in His nostrils and is in NO WAY CHRISTIAN. Be watchful brothers and sisters and pray. This one major way the adversary will come at us. These perverts want the church to embrace sin and will stop at nothing until everyone "accepts" the lifestyle but we must standfast. It's all of grace and people can truly be transformed...so that God's word can say truthfully "and such were some of you." See Rosaria Butterfield's bio, "The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert: An English Professor's Journey into the Christian Faith" God's grace is sufficient for all sin but we must call it out for what it is.

This is not the type of reformation the church needs. Go back to the Old Paths and stay clear of those given to change especially when it comes to tampering with the Bible and what it requires. Liberalism leads to spiritual decline and, ultimately, death if left unchecked. What is needed is not #Me too....more like #Me Semper Reformanda #Me Five Solas #Me Biblical Inerrancy

@Very Priviliged Better yet, they should just close up shop. The RCC is Satan's masterpiece and the Roman sacramental system is a tool of perdition.

Dispensationalism is wrong; however, it is also wrong to be dismissive of or arrogant toward the Jews. Per Romans 11, we should be praying for their conversion. The ethnic Jews need the Lord Jesus Christ and one day many shall be saved and it shall be life from the dead for the church. Those who are converted (born again) will then become spiritual Jews and part of the Christian church...one body where there is neither Jew nor Greek. This has to be done by outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As Paul wrote in Romans 2:29, "he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." See Romans 11, Zechariah 12, et. al. For those grappling with this issue, this sermon is very helpful:

As a former Roman Catholic, now born again by God's grace, I can tell you it is fulfillment of the OT. Roman Catholics believe that baptism saves. The presby view is that all children of believers including infants get baptism as a sign of the covenant (visible membership in the church). We don't believe that an infant who is baptized is saved. They have to come to faith on their own. Esau was part of the covenant and was circumscised. He did not have saving faith but had the promise and the benefits that come with church membership. He rejected that and was an unbeliever in the final analysis. Oikos (household) was a broad term encompassing the whole household including slaves. Baptism can mean immersion, but it can also mean sprinkling. Please don't take my word for it. Please search the scriptures begining w/Gen 17: 7-13.

Don't forget this, Act 2:41  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Now, the bible doesn't support infant baptism, a holdover from Rome. It does state 'children', not 'infant' and it says 'they that gladly received his word', which an infant cannot do. This clarifies the biblical view of baptism, and not the presby/rcc view.
