Such powerful truth! Assurance of our election full and free!
"[For assurance] we do not pry [into the secret book of Life] but by seeing fruits in Christ ... we know by faith - the gift of God ... the Word preached reveals this [assurance] to us b/c the work of the Spirit in the preaching gives assurance ... We look to Jesus in love and faith and obey on account of Jesus Christ".
Great Sermon! Actually, this was a careful critique of Graham's doctrine of salvation in the second half of the program, contrasting Graham's writings with Scripture. Refreshing to find love that hopes all things, carefulness, and respectfulness like this, especially on the passing of this evangelical leader.
Great Sermon! Barry this is one of my favorite sermons. It has open my heart to forgiving, I've been struggling being angry, yelling and so stressed out all the time and would ask God why am I like this? I need to go back to my root and figure out who to forgive! Ty so much for putting the sermons on here .
Great Sermon! I have been reading some of the works of James Ryle and they are uplifting with a powerful message that make you think and examine yourself. This is a powerful short sermon that I will listen to continually. Though written over two centuries ago, it is more relevant to today's church than it was then. This should be played in every church that is not what it should be.
Great Sermon! I will listen to this again - it is profound. So straightforward, so true. Yesterday I said goodbye to a dearly loved sister in the Lord, and today this message has brought me comfort. Thank you.
Another Great Sermon By This Speaker! Richard Caldwell Jr. is a blessed preacher. I love listening to him. His messages are real, easy to understand, and provide practical instruction for all Christians. I have been blessed by several of his messages, and this one is no exception. Thank you, sir, for letting God speak through you.
Great Sermon! Wonderful, helpful message. I'd often wondered what exactly is bitterness. This leave no doubt and allows no excuse. This speaker's companion piece, Freedom from Bitterness, provides very practical advice on how to free ourselves from this sin. Thank you so much for these words of wisdom.
Great Sermon! This was so encouraging to me! I have been trying to learn to have a greater trust in God during dark times.
The verse "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" was meaningful and also difficult.
In the midst of darkness, we just have to cast ourselves upon Him, and wait for Him! (don't try to kindle your own fire)
Thank you for this great encouragement.
