The Bible is replete with instructions on what to do and what not to do. Being made in the image of God includes this. Why shouldn't the Holy Spirit enlighten someone via a call to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ? Take cautious that you are not maintaining an excess of a different sort in your attempt to rectify what you perceive is excessive.
