No one here has called 'Johnuk' to repent of his attack on James and Lurker. Where is the apology? Isn't 'Johnuk' the one who promoted mytics here, Madame Guyon and Watchman Nee, yet he accuses James of such? The works of the flesh include biting and devouring one another until one 'consumes' their opponent. It becomes about 'being right' and 'winning' and not about edifying. How shameful, not to mention sinful. The best comment on the entire thread came from 'Sola Scriptura' I regret that this forum which should present opportunity for edification one of another is so terribly abused. I hoped it would be to all our profit in our growth up into Christ our Head, but it seems that some wish to prove themselves right by means of ridicule and name-calling and often times false accusations and slander. Brethren these things ought not to be so. --- yes and amen |

Great Sermon! An excellent message that rightly explains the law and the Sabbath. Christ is our Sabbath rest, yes and amen. The legalist says you have to keep the Sabbath, which makes no sense. We cannot keep any of the law, for if we stumble at just one point, we are guilty of breaking ALL of it! We have no righteousness of our own, it is HIS righteousness that God sees and accepts. We are naturally set in our thinking that we must 'do' something to be accepted, this works-based belief is shattered by Christ, and we praise Him.
Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to Thy cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless, look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die. |

Great Sermon! This short message is a great reminder for the present time. Let us not be sleepy saints, rather, we must watch and pray. |

rightly expounding This kind of preaching is rare, and doesn't tickle the ear nor please man's tainted will. Nevertheless, the truth MUST be preached, however unpopular it is. God's blessings to you for being faithful to His word. |

Great Sermon! Great message - I believe in the doctrines of grace because God wrote them in His word. Calvin never penned them, God did. |

Great Sermon! The truths pointed to in this message are ignored by many who name the name of Christ. Combining a works based salvation, which is Arminianism, with the Christ of the bible negates grace. Yet, Graham is defended and spoken highly of, which is a testimony to the true spiritual condition of many who defend him or who just shrug him off.....deception is rampant. Not standing against error is the reason error increases like a cancer, and that is what we see in this day. Men who refuse to expose error-Titus 1:10-11 King James Version (KJV)
10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
Whose mouths MUST BE STOPPED, yet many refuse to do that. When you speak out, you are falsely accused and ran out of town! Man centered messages are very popular, which explains Graham's popularity. |
