“ Great Sermon! ” A wonderful, powerful message... I hope this is listened to by many, and am glad to read from one of the messages that a soul came to repentance through it.
She won't find a hospital that agrees with her religious principles. Are you aware of any hospitals that don't perform abortions? Also, she was emotionally blackmailed into performing the abortion... she was told it was a matter of life and death. If she refused to do it, she would have been accused of "patient abandonment", and with an accusation like that on her file, she would never ever be able to work as a nurse again.
I think it is unlikely that he went to heaven... He seemed more enamoured of Mary than of Christ. But I could be wrong. Hence I voted unsure... I'm not a prophet, and I'm not God. Who knows what really went on in that man's heart?
His fruits were bad though... He seemed to be a total idolator leading others into sin. If he had faith in Christ alone, he wouldn't have spent so much time talking about Mary.
Three years ago I was baptised with two others, one of whom was a convert from Islam. This is in England... he was told that if he converted he would lose his job, and his home. He was physically threatened by his work mates (he worked on a building site) and I believe had real reason to fear persecution.
He got baptised anyway. Any time I feel the world pressuring me to not be so forthright in my faith, I remember this man.
We should pray for our brothers and sisters from Muslim backgrounds... We need to be honest about what they are facing, and we can all learn from their courageous example.
