KK:Correction. Love conquers all. Angela: "....if the LORD provides opportunity for me to join a Christian Society, I will do it in a heartbeat." How about the Church for starters? |

Dr. Phil, One hardly knows where to begin to answer such pronounced isogesis. I'll try my best. To your unique interpretation of John chapter 8 I have this to say; Jesus asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has NO ONE CONDEMNED YOU?"(my emphasis) To which her reply was, "No one sir." To which his reply was, "THEN NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU, go now and leave your life of sin." Compassion first, the imperative second. Jesus always ministered this way. One has to exert tremendous imagination to visualize the gospel ever sounding like good news when coming from your lips. But your commentary was puerile enough to keep me reading. Now to my original point: Yes, I suggested instead of pointing a Pharisaical finger or boycotting to exhibit the biblical standard why not exercise some compassion and discernment and in the priestly role for which we have been called offer intercession, mediation, and ministry to a lost world. Conversely, the only condemnation Jesus ever pronounced was on those who said they knew the law yet refused to adhere to its weightier demands. Jesus claimed that the Father desired loyalty over sacrifice, that love for God and love for one's neighbor encompassed the whole law. |
