Unless parents are prepared to do the hard work of teaching their children the truths of the Christian faith in the home, they should not be surprised when someone or some other institution ( Christian or not ) indoctrinates them according to what they hold to be true.

I have learned to cherish your Sermons and recommend that others listen. But today, I listened to the message preached at a funeral and I am stunned to find that you put forth the question and the answer that I am trying to deal with. Based on a message I heard in church yesterday I told the Pastor I needed to talk with him. It seemed to me he was giving unsaved people assurances meant only for God's redeemed people. Thanks to you I have my answer. I am so glad for the internet. I would otherwise starve for good teaching. God bless you in all His good things.
