100% agree with the understanding demonstrated from the text, Mark 9;28-29, which is such an abused text with man at the center. If we take casting a mountain into the sea literally (I do) because we generally make that passage about "My faith" most of the sermons Ive heard (have to) make the mountain something more "Attainable" for us. The mountain of stress, yhe mountain of trouble at work, the mountain of family problems etc. Where, if mountain casting is literal then the passage Can't be about me & what I can do but about Christ's faithfulnes to The Father, His power, His authority and His ability etc. Pastor Jones demonstrates that Mark does not stray from his stated purpose for writing this book, and it isn't about us, but the Good News of Jesus who is The Christ, the Son of God. |

My favorite preacher A.W.Tozer, After 53 years later as he said it , it's much worse. I see him as a prophet.

Love book of Nehemiah what a Godly man was his love to his people and God is real. But only Christ free his people from their sin.

A lot going on this week and I needed this reminder to my weary soul. Trials bring me to all seeing and all knowing God's feet.

Pastor Mike,
I watched both programs. I questioned the pastor motive yesterday if he is really "pastor" !! You're not racist. I'm biracial , God didn't see my color He loved me so much He send His only Son for me a sinner.!!! We're brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.
You're always bring me back to a place where I look to rely on God.
