I couldn't agree more. Many, many, many preachers, if questioned would claim they preach Christ. But in reality, if they speak of His Person or Work at all, it is simply 'about' Him. There is a huge difference between preaching about Christ and preaching Christ. Amen....And the Lord knows when to send a word of encouragement. I was just speaking to a brother last night, and mentioned this very point. This morning I see this post at the top of FreeGraceRadio.com's weblog, as confirmation. May the Lord be pleased to send forth preachers to preach Christ and Him Crucified in these needy days. |
