Now that seems to imply that man can be BLIND, IGNORANT and alienated from religion. Better?

Correction - "Man *IS* blind and ignorant until he is no longer alienated from the life of God.

That is until he receives the gift of faith from God.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

WHEN?? Cruz actually proves that he has faith then we might accept that the quote "will of God is in him." Until then we shall just have to accept him as yet another politician.
