Sermon:
Every Idle Word

“ Scary Sermon! ”
I accidentally sent a comment before I completed or cleaned up errors, but what I am afraid of is that there is, besides blasphemy of the Holy Spirit being unforgivable, that there also is ANOTHER unforgivable sin: IDLE WORDS!!! I know I have been guilty of idle words, so I am very afraid because I know that I now am perpetually in a state of unforgiveness as a result. Thanks for your sermon. WOW!!! Woe am I. That means I can't have fellowship with God, and there is no remedy for me. But again, thanks for your sermon.

“ Scary sermon! Great ”
So does this mean that Jesus did not include the sin of idle words as a sin that could be forgiven? I thought that all sin was forgivable EXCEPT blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I use the King James Bible, and according to what I've been reading for several decades was that the ONLY UNFORGIVABLE sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, and at the moment of trusting Jesus for salvation, that ALL sins, past, present, and future were forgiven. I'm very puzzled.

This Jim you speak of so.... has anyone tried to win him over to Christ, I mean earnestly?

For we all start out as dirty rotten sinners and Jesus cleanses us, thus making us new creations in Christ Jesus.

Just wondering?

Good observation, Chris

I listened to the entire speech and heard him refer to himself as Christian.

This intentional effort to disqualify this man on every level is disgusting and shows just how dark the world of reporting is. Journalism is a corrupt field of puppets of evil. They are merchants of fear and hatred.

2.the brutal religion of Islam.
I didn't mention Jesus or the gospel at all,
On reflection I was that taken in by all the media hype on the recent world events in Paris and Germany,Belgium, and Africa.
Please forgive the worldly manner in which I handled a possible chance to witness , Lord,
Dave,

Unfortunately, we often allow ourselves to become sidetracked when Christ is issue.

What do our neighbors think of Christ? He must be given pre eminence in all things; even in what is posted here. But Jesus said, the blind lead the blind. The light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is needed. Light must come into the conscience of the reader and hearer. These posts are on shifting sand. Nothing is concrete. Much on this board is sand thrown into the eyes of sincere humble truth seekers. There's a prevailing spirit of condemnation here. The world needs a Savior. Not an opinion.

How is someone using a moniker of 'donkey kong'' denigrating to someone with dark skin?
JoBob,

just cut it out! If you don't understand then let it go. You don't reallly need to know.
This is the kind of stuff that keeps fighting and divisions going. Perhaps you like most Americans think that our government is protecting us. This is a false assumption. The increasing violence in the world should be a warning to those who choose to be at odds with another.
Additionally, if you are a Christians perhaps you will read posts reminding us of how GOD sent enemies against His own people to get them back in line with His will and His way. Unfortunately, posters have torn people apart with criticism; thinking they are wise; going against God's word that says "speak evil of no man." He also says in the Word that He alone knows those who are His. But posters play God and rake men across the coals of "works" while proclaiming "grace." Instead of us praying that God's will be done, posters want their wills manifested in another man.
JoBob, I don't think you are stupid. I don't. But then, maybe you are.
If you are a believer, then seek wisdom from God and know no man after his first birth.

When Europe and America disobeys God rejects HIS Word and doctrines God thus punishes them.
So GOD is sending the Muslims to "conquer" the western nations for their sins, wickedness and abominations to punish them.
Are these Governors doing battle with God's wrath?
Yep.

And the Church is being attacked by ungodly Sodomites. And "blacks" are the seemingly the weak link in the chain that causes others to develop battles against institutions that would otherwise protect. Why?

Man lives in the flesh and after the flesh - self preference; attempting to protect his "self life."

If "black lives matter" to the extent protests are taking place at college campuses and other public places, then what do these protesters think of what is happening in Nigeria. Nigerians and Sudanese are being slaughtered daily by Islamists.

Now their beef should be with the administration that turns its ugly head toward Europeans; only.

As for me, in Christ we are not divided along lines for which the ungodly goes to war. Instead, we stand for what is pleasing in the eyes of God - righteousness, peace, and holiness. Our battle is against evil in all forms. All Christians should be united on this one front - getting the Gospel out to the blind.

as the invasion is financed and brought to our streets the "pietist" women will be dragging their husbands by the hair and throwing them into their church buildings and telling them to be silent.
"go with the flow"
works well for clergy and those staying at home, but grownups in the working world have these things to deal with all the time, its not a peculiar thing they are waiting for difficulty, but rather encounter it directly, day by day, just to survive.
despite our fatalist teachers, I've seen media push an agenda, the people say no and they have to drop it. they can only enslave through manipulaton and fear, and only with a silent church of millions.
"Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand."
Micah 2:1
why do you associate pietism with inaction? Not advocating pietism or inaction, but reading about the pietist movement they were the ones that were in the community making a difference. Just wondering.

While our attention is drawn to the Paris, France events, are we letting the ball drop by ignoring what is happening in Nigeria? Weren't there attacks the same day in Nigeria as was in France.

Let's cover all the events of terrorism. We have totally ignored Sudan. SUDAN!!!!

10. Effectual Calling

So are you saying regeneration is the quickening and renewing by the HS prior to faith in Christ, for how can a dead sinner have faith prior to the quickening of regeneration being 'dead' and not spiritually alive?
That is what the above appears to be saying-regeneration-then the grace enablement to answer the call? Or am I mistaken.

We have been instructed to give glory to God; the exalt the name of the Lord and what He has done for the children of men. Instead we exalt man's failings. We just don't seem to get it! We would rather present ourselves as though we've attained. When a professing Christian fails, we take sides with the devil and attack with accusations. We have not been called to do this. For the Lord knows those that are his.

2Sa 24:12-14
Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

Are we speaking the truth in love? Are we praying for those who have been deceived; those who know who He is and what He has done?

The words we speak are spirit and life, just as Christ spoke.

Should this apply to the NAACP's right to have someone like Rachel Dolezal volunteering in their organization?

After enough Christian businesses are closed, will we have to do what minorities did in the 60s - sit down at lunch counters in protest again?

May God help us to realize what we are doing to ourselves by preserving the self life, and not getting the Gospel that frees man from men, out to all creatures.

"... civil disobedience"? One can hardly call this 'civil.' On the other part, it is simply obeying God rather submitting to the sinful legislations of man.

Unfortunately, this inserted comment is off topic as I explain below.

I am at a total loss over the deliberate and intentional ignoring of the Rachel Dolezal issue. Especially on this “Christian” board!
Here is a woman left to slaughter at the hands of wolves in every circle and on every side. And the Christian remains silent. Why has no one come to her defense? Where are the Shepherds? Where is the soul winning pastor and saint? Who finds this issue redemptive?
This is a topic of grave importance to unity in the Body of Christ. If dealt properly it will destroy the l barriers created by racism. Racism based on color.
Unfortunately, because no one has offered the topic for discussion, I’ve had to barge into an unrelated post in order to get responses and reactions; pro and con.
I support this woman and find that undiscerning have bought into what White America does to keep division between the races. The genealogies of both Adam and Noah means nothing to Christians. They have been brainwashed into thinking that a house (country, church) divided can stand.
So why don’t we all find something new to separate over, since the SIN of racism is bringing us together in fallen humanity. We have become a bunch of WARMONGERS.

Hey, I'M STILL ETERNALLY SAY SO,

I am trying to get your attention. So, I butted in where I could since there's no issue posted that is relative to this.

Do you see what I see? Boy, I wish others could see where government mandates are leading us and how our freedoms are being eroded. What is you view on Vaccinating the nation. Or "Innocculating" the world?
This man is correct. He should run for president. But we know what would happen.
Here's something you've probably already seen:

@Curious Thank you for your thoughtful response. John 1:11-13 implies that we can understand that the gift of new life comes to all men for a diversity of reasons, what is unique is the election of God's little born ones. So I could assume that other royals have children and are having them. not so much media attention, No.
Thank you, Mourner

I read the passages noted. Thank God for his grace to see the fullness of the Godhead in a body.

May we focus on this One as we await his glorious epiphaneia.
