John, your questions do appear suspicious, and I do sense from past comments, as well as the recent, "A dear friend of mine, who is a Christian and a good policeman in Lowestoft, England..." that you take issue with my stance against the false god called The State, and seek to entrap me somehow with questions that beg questions themselves. And rather than assist your brother lyn with his convoluted babble and those readers seeking some understanding, you just jump right in with two questions of your own.So what is your intent, John? What are you meaning by "anti" in "anti-anyone?" I am not familiar with every "government" in the world so I can not accept what you say I believe, and I don't believe I ever said this. You also seem confused about "government" and "the state" as you link them as if they are the same. It appears that you view the state as good, and seek to defend that notion. Now, I have no interest in setting up or imagining a kingdom in this world that would provide comfort for Christians, and I see no command from the Lord to do so, so why would I bother myself with such vain thoughts? The state is to remain and is to grow, and only the Lord will destroy it. I do believe the power of the state comes from the people, so it doesn't look too good for... |
