Just as in everyday life, just as everyday on this board, if you really believe in the inward parts that you are/were the perpetrator against God and not the other way around, you would be honest always that you are not the victim. That is true for all. For all. If they claimed that our Lord had a demon what will they say about you? If all would just reflect before submitting a comment...
I am guilty of this in times past.
I claim no side of the issue except for Messiah. A word in season, how wonderful it is. |

Andrea,We are all products of our upbringing and environment, so I can understand that you feel a certain way about this subject. I have no idea what it's like to grow up in Greece. Here in the USA we have a choice. And praise the Lord that we do. An education for a child is essentially the forming of the child's mind. To think certain ways. To value what the teacher teaches. It stays with you for life. Now... if I dont believe in evolution(as an example). I have a choice to do the teaching for my child, instead of a state paid teacher. This is just one example of course. As a man who went through the state schools, I can attest to the power of the experience over the mind. Peer pressure is also very powerful in that setting.
But, here we have a choice. And I tell you the truth that my children are smarter now than I ever was in state school.
