I like your style 9/11, and definetely feel a spirtual kinship with you. I still remember your description of those "God sees Christ, and not me the unworthy sinner" Christian types, as "snow-covered dung."

Keep up the high ideals of Christ before this "wicked and untoward generation" and a remnant will be converted and saved. Thank you for your consistently excellent work.

Concerning baptism for the remission of sins: "...because they formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through water. Baptism, which corresponds to this, now SAVES you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience," (1 Peter 3:20-22).

Baptism is more than a dead ritual (Catholics, most Baptist, Orthodox) for the repentant, self-abnegating believer, indeed for them, it becomes a "washing of regeneration," (Tit. 3:5) a "cleansing of the heart from an evil conscience" (Heb. 10:22) and the establishment of a covenant with God "for a good conscience." (1 Peter 3:21) Only after our bodies have been washed with that "pure water" are we able to recieve the "baptism of the Spirit." (John 3:5)

Mike,
Why are you choosing to compare this sentimental anecdote of an unregenerate "pastor," clearly lacking in all gifts of moral discernment with the apostolic discipline of voluntary trangressors of the law of Christ? We are barred from fellowship with those who have fallen from grace, who have returned like a "dog to its vomit, or the sow, after washing herself, to wallowing in the mire." (2 Peter 2:21-22)

Yes, we see many accounts in the Gospels of our Christ extending mercy to "sinners and publicans," attended with the stern warning to "Go and sin no more, lest a worst thing come upon thee [irrevocable damnation]" (John 5:13-15, 8:11). Indeed the parable of the Prodigal son, consistent with all the acts of our Lord, is about Christ extending his mercy to fallen humanity, who have squandered their divine inheritance of conscience and noble faculties for "although they knew God, they did not honor him as God, but they became futile in their understanding, and their foolish hearts were darkened." (Rom 1:22-23)

Nowhere do we find this mercy exteneded to born-again saints who have been "baptized into His death," and "tasted the heavenly gift [of regeneration]" who then go on to make a "shipwrek of the faith," for "it is IMPOSSIBLE to restore such again to repentance"

Apostle Paul judges: "But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of BROTHER if he is guilty of SEXUAL IMMORALITY or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler--not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those INSIDE THE CHURCH whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. "PURGE the evil person from among you."

Yes, you are right Wayne. I am a judge of the brethren. Strict discipline must be enforced to keep the virgin bride of Christ, undefiled and unspotted from the world. He is coming back for a church "without spot or wrinkle." We shall not partake in your iniquity nor shall we downgrade the Gospel to accomodate the weak, the effeminate, and the spiritual failures. We are the elect of God, "ready to punish every disobedience, until your obedience is complete."

Wayne inquires: "How do you justify deciding which laws you shall obey and which you shall break?"

That's an easy one Wayne. Those which hinder my profession of allegiance to the Sermon on the Mount I will trample underfoot as an unworthy obstacle. Those which do not (no matter how unjust they may be, or how enslaving, or exploiting, etc.) I will submit to in order to silence the foolish pagans "for the Lord's sake." (1 Peter 2:13-15).

P.S. Lurker, as far as the Muslims are concerned I am not afraid of them. Let them come in droves and I, through the divine power of God shall convert and disciple them also in the ways of Christ just as I have done with the other sojourners!

As I have already admitted Lurker, I am willing to humbly submit to any punishment the civil authorities wish to dispense with, without any resisistance ("resist not the evildoer") on my part. I must obey God rather than man. I also humbly submit to any laws which doth not prevent my service in Christ's kingdom, no matter how injust they may be. Whether it be Soviet Russia, Nazi Germany, abortion promoting, war-mongering, greed-loving America, or the British King George III (the violent American Revolution was a flagrant usurpation of Rom 13, btw).

Wayne claims: "Divorce places a person in the same position as if he/she had never married. So he/she is free to remarry in the Lord."

Where in Scripture is divorce or seperation considered the same as if you had never been married? Nay, rather as Abigal so presciently remarked below to be "not under bondage" means they are not guilty of sin because of separation. You have decided to twist the apostolic teaching to allow your flesh to indulge in licentious behavior under the cloak of re-"marriage." This is why when the Apostle speaks of (re)marriage he addresses only the unmarried (virgins) and the widows. And as far as elders and deacons are concerned even in cases of widowhood they are commanded to abstain from any further indulgence and so remain "above reproach."

A God-ordained marriage is indeed a better estate than fornication, but the best estate, the holiest, is that of chastity and total lifelong abstinence. This is the more "excellent way." (Citations as you asked: Matt. 19:10-12; 1 cor 7:1-2, 6-7, 38; Rev. 14:2-5).

And you call the marriage bed undefiled?? I can attest to the fact that the vast majority of "churched" Americans marriage beds are dens of filth, filled with unabashed sexual perversities such as oral and anal s*x to name a few. I have more to say.

KKK recommends: "My advise to you is to explain to them that they must go home and pursue citizenship through THE PROPER CHANNELS -- THAT'S ***THE RIGHT WAY*** !!!"

You've lost your mind if you really think I am going to tell my friends and disciples to pack up and go back to their hell-hole of a country and go through the mind-benumbing, bureaucratic red tape to enter according to man-made laws legally. As I said, I agree with Neil that they will remain strangers and sojourners until they apply for legal citizenship but since I treat all without partiality, it doesn't affect me one way or the other.

If you don't wish to allow them on your property, fine. But they have not come through the back window of MY house, nay, rather they were welcomed through the front door. I can do as I please with what is mine, and as for "me and MY house, we will serve the Lord by serving him in the least of these, his brethren."

Wayne,

The Christ speaketh thus: "The disciples said to him, "If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry." But he said to them, "Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one WHO IS ABLE [strong in faith and sobriety] to receive this receive it."

The Apostle Paul sayeth: " 1Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: "It is GOOD for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman." But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband...Now as a CONCESSION, not a command, I say this. I wish that all were as I myself am...So then he who marries his betrothed does well, and he who refrains from marriage will do even BETTER."

The beloved Apostle prohesies: "It is these who have not DEFILED themselves with women, for they are VIRGINS. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as FIRSTFRUITS for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are BLAMELESS."

Oh, yes. I'm serious

Yes I would Mike. For I would happily part with any temporal possession I own (I just did it Sept. 1, 2006 with no police call as Christ demands) knowing that if "my enemy should take my cloak I must give to him another."

What I did when I was robbed at gunpoint (I own no guns or any other carnal weapons in obedience to the law Christ) was tell the burglar that he was welcome to anything in the house or on my person, and that he gave me great joy to be a blessing to others. He took a bunch of worldly junk that would not last beyond the grave, and bowed his head to me on his way out the door and whispered, "Pray for me, bro." And so I continue to do. He was a native by the looks of him, and I suppose I would treat the stranger just the same.

If I had reacted as the unregenerate and based my conduct on human principles I should have attempted to repay like for like. I should have killed or maimed in self-defense, or called the agents of the satan-worshiping State, perhaps going to prosecute in court. I chose the narrow divine way of Christ, as none that are merely human can do. But alas, we "have the mind of Christ," the merciful Christ who prayed "Father, forgive them!"

P.S. The gun was rather unnecessary for all are free to take from me armed or unarmed. (Matt. 5:38-48)

I'm in complete agreement with you here Abigal. The Scripture is clear on this point. Any remarriage after the new-birth is a defilement of God's holy temple and will be recompensed with eternal damnation.

For one, consider that one marriage is itself a major concession to human weakness. For Christ would have us be eunuchs for his sake, for it is "best for man not to touch a woman." For the weak effeminate men who may be taken in by their lust Paul concedes it is perhaps better that they marry rather than burn (in Hell). The chaste and pure virgin son or daughter of God will be the Lamb's choicest specimen and will hold a most privileged place in the kingdom of Heaven for all eternity. They will receive the fullest revelation of divine perfection, will be the most united with God's essence, and will have the greatest favor from the Father. Special vessels indeed (Rev. 14:4-5).

The strictly monogamous will hold second rank having succumbed to the weakness of the flesh. (I Cor. 7:2) The elders and deacons are explicitly commanded to abstain from remarriage whatever the circumstances (1 Tim. 3:2,12). Even if they are widowers they are considered to have already partaken in carnal self-indulgence and are allowed no more. Only the widowed who are not office-holders are allowe

I understand you completely and we are in agreement since whether or not they are "naturalized" or remain sojourners I will continue to treat them with as much love as I do the "native-born."

"The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God."

To continue from my previous post, the Gentiles who do not have the law will be judged by the "law written in their hearts," the law of conscience. Christ did not come because noone out of the entirety of the human race were deemed worthy of eternal life (Enoch, Elijah, Job, and Daniel, to name a few). He came to create a new super-race of human beings by renovating the very heart of man (which is the cause of all sin) through the destructive power of the cross and the regenerating power of His resurrection.

We call this new race the twice-born or the born-again. They alone are able to live up to the exalted standards of Christ (e.g. Sermon on the Mount), to live without spot or blemish in all that they do, say, and even think (Philip. 4:8). They alone have access to the divine grace which enables them to live sinless, self-renouncing lives in this present evil world (Titus 2:11-14), and they alone are given supernatural power from God to work greater signs and miracles ("for greater works shall ye do," saith the Master).

They have been adopted as sons and daughters of the living God, redeemed as a special people for his own possesion, and alone of all men have the right to call, "Abba, father." Though others may inherit eternal life, only the saints will reign with Christ

Neil,
I do not support living off of the dole nor indeed, do I support the existence of the dole period. In fact, the entire taxation enterprise is "theft." However as an ambassador of Christ's kingdom I have no authority to dictate to the kingdoms of this world (under the control of Satan) how they are to formulate policy. So you are right, there is no political mandate, and after I reread the article I understand your argument.

I do however, fully support the body of Christ providing sanctuary to immigrants and I have happily hired a few for my own small enterprise with excellent results. I have been able to teach them ESL, the Santa Biblia, and paid a year's worth of rent for their families to help them save their earnings for other necessities and charity (the work of Christ). I will humblingly sumbit to whatever consequences from the civil authorities (Rom 13, 1 Pet 2:13,14)that may follow from my strict and scrupulous adherence to the laws of Christ. I guess legalization and amnesty would make my work a whole lot easier but as I've said, as a soldier of Christ I cannot muddy my hands in civilian affairs.

TULIP retorts: "If our own righteousness justifies us, Ro10:1-4, then there is no need of Messiah, Jesus' work was/is superfluous. You make the case for Jews, Muslims, Buddists, etc."

No, our own standards, our own righteousness will not justify us. However God has given every man an intuitive knowledge of good and evil (conscience discussed in Rom 1:18-28), and while a good guide, it is infinitely inferior to the revealed law of Christ. We also are aware that "He will render to each one according to his WORKS: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and DO NOT OBEY the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for EVRY HUMAN BEING WHO DOES EVIL, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality." Rom 2:6-11

This applies to all without exception: Jews, Muslims, Buddhist, Christians, Calvinist, etc. There will be no partiality at the dread judgement seat of Christ. To whom much is given much is required. Those who have the revealed law of Christ will be judged therby just as those who have it not will be judged b

"For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, THERY ARE A LAW TO themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them on that day when, according to my gospel, God judges the secrets of men by Christ Jesus." Rom 2:14,15

"About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, "Cornelius." And he stared at him in terror and said, "What is it, Lord?" And he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have ASCENDED as a MEMORIAL before God." Acts 2:3,4

Cornelius' prayers and alms, being done from a heart devoted to GOD, were not filthy rags in sight of God. Cornelius would have inherited eternal life because of his pure works, whether or not he had ever been exposed to the Gospel. However such men, when they do encounter the unadulterated Gospel of Christ, eagerly recieve and obey it.

It was dead works of the Pharisees who wished to be seen of men, who added to and obfuscated God's law with their filthy traditions, who possessed black hearts full of pride and self-righteousness, that were but filthy rags to God Almighty.

KKK spits: "I don't know what it is the Baptist think they are doing But I'm here to tell you it's NOT "FOR GOD AND Country"

Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt.
Exodus 22:21

The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.
Leviticus 19:34

So show your love for the alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 10:19

So you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. And it will come about that you shall divide it by lot for an inheritance among yourselves and among the aliens who stay in your midst, who bring forth sons in your midst. And they shall be to you as the native-born among the sons of Israel; they shall be allotted an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
Ezekiel 47:21-22

You're certainly right KK, these Christian men are not working for the promotion of God AND Country, but rather for GOD at the expense of this masonic-ruled, demonica-inspired, mammon-worshipping Babylon.
