Why don't they just post a blank cheque to Osama, courtesy of the British tax payer. I mean, we are already bailing out everyone else, what's a few million pounds between friends?

And I used to think newspapers were designed for spreading THE NEWS, not swaying public opinion.

But then I guess there is too much money to be made at telling people how they should think, instead of letting them make their own minds up.

While I lament the state of this country, and what the Labour government, and Europe, has done to it, we are reminded in the Scriptures that Christ's Kingdom is not of this world. The Church shouldn't be expecting on the government to be fighting its battles. We need to get on with the job.

This nearly trumps the supposed photograph of the two inch Martian bigfoot... But not quite.

I think everybody should learn Hebrew, and read the Bible in its original language. And if not, just have one translation. Having more than one, NIV, NLT, Message, NCV, etc, is not only confusing for the average unchurched person (I work in a bookshop, I should know), it's hard to follow a preacher who is reading out of a different version than you have.

So one word-for-word translation per language. Thought-for-thought translations aren't necessary. People can just write commentaries for that.

Unfortunately wife-beating is not a phenomenon restricted to the Muslim religion. It happens in the UK too, even by some who name the name of Christ.

Jer 32:35
And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

Someone needs to tell the commies you go to prison to be punished, not to put your feet up.

And most of them are in the government and the BBC. Oh dear.

It's a pity the survey didn't ask them did they always consider themselves happy? No doubt a vast majority of these happy people weren't born happy.

While I do believe God can and does heal today, I am hard pressed to believe anything that comes out of Brownsville is genuine or that it is Gospel.

If Allah be a god, let him plead for himself (Judges 6:31). Is he incapable of defending his own honour?

Maybe this would be a good opportunity to preach the gospel to the pope, and witness to the other Catholics who may come out to see him. After all, if a man travels a long way to visit your country, we should at least show him some Christian hospitality.

Well it was Churchill's proposal following the Second World War that the European Council be set up, which was intended to prevent the outbreak of war on the continent from ever happening again. But I wonder if he were alive today would he even recognize what Europe has now become.

Of course we know that wars will not cease until Christ returns. And then nation shall not lift up sword again nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

I think the news article is confusing. The Pastor does not seem to claim that Jesus had HIV. Is it not meant to be a play on words, that the Lord was positive about people with "HIV" and other diseases, i.e. He sought to identify with the social outcast? It is a poor choice of title for a sermon in any case.

One of the chapters in the book is called "a piece of pie", with the mathematical symbol for pie displayed instead of the word. Incidently this is the chapter that talks about God being a black woman.

But it also looks like the Hebrew letter for "Chet" (ח wich is probably a more apt description in English for the chapter.

"Just as "the initial physical evidence of being baptized in water is that you are wet, the initial physical evidence of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues," Wood underscored."

The evidence of being baptised into the Spirit is a changed life, not a changed language. "By their fruits ye shall know them". Tongues is not an evidence of salvation.

I wonder what dialect the animal communicator uses to speak to the dogs. Does she find "bow-wow" to be more common, or what about "woof-woof"? Is "ruff-ruff" harder to understand?

Seriously, though. This article is deeply disturbing, and clear evidence if there was any, that fortune telling and animal psychics are both linked directly to the occult. Who else could know of a dog alive that behaved exactly like another one, except Satan's cohorts?

2nd Samuel 23:3
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

If there is no fear of God before these counsellors eyes, they'd be better looking for another job.
