Derford wrote: Maggie is the best leader UK has had since Churchill. And the sad thing is we shall never see such proficient leadership again because there is no real Conservatives left in Westminster any more. As for Labour and Liberal Dem. in the "Leadership" stakes they don't count, what the socialists want is big government (bureaucacy) not 'big' leaders. Derford what you say is true but what I find amazing is so many have blinkers on & think that Westminster is a nursery for Nation Leaders starting with Milliband.truly distressing |

John UK wrote: Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK without marriage rights for gay couples." Awful, tragic, discriminatory, bigoted, unfairbackward, unloving, uncaring homophobic...yes too true & I trust it will remain all of the above indefinitely in spite of the terrorists by night & politicians by day Sinn Fein`s support of sodomy. They couldn`t destroy Unionism by terror but they are now trying by perversion & division. Defeated Again. No Surrender. |

John Yurich USA wrote: Of course Jim Lincoln being an Ex-Methodist believes that no Methodist is saved and thus believes that Thatcher was not saved. Just heard on the news that her father, who she thought the world of, was a lay preacher so we can only hope that she heard The Gospel of Salvation from his lips & acted upon that knowledge. |

Courageous, brave & attractive as a bonus. Withstood the might of the unions & changed Britain but like all Politicians made mistakes. A very sad day with her passing. Instead of a strong woman we now have in her place a posse of straw men |

Frank wrote: To us, He is the God/man who left heaven, lived a perfect life; suffered torture and ridicule while dying for our sins and then He was raised for our justification. What a wonderful Savior we have! I thank Him for my salvation and my eternal home with Him. Amen to that Frank |

Dan wrote: Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast [him] into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called, but few [are] chosen. (Mat. 22:11-14) This is the real Jesus - not their invented Jesus! This world looks upon Jesus Christ as meek/weak & mild/helpless, & that is a fateful blunder as will be demonstrated in a future day. |

John UK wrote: Do you have decent shops in NI? In all my life, I've never crossed the sea to visit north or south. Have you been to the south? Some say it is the most beautiful country, even though wet and windy. But apparently very friendly, even though staunchly Catholic. All the big stores are in Belfast & surrounding areas. We go to Co. Leitrim every year in my RV & like you say,the locals are very friendly as long as you don`t wave the Union Flag in their face (with the history, understandable).Like you say,wet a windy.the 40 shades of green need it!. "Staunchly Catholic" but after the ongoing child abuse scandals there has been something of a "cooling of the ardor" by "the faithful". Don`t know the figures but many are "nominally" RC and never practice. Visit Ulster instead with your hard earned cash while it`s worth Something as we`ll soon be papering the house with it! |
