this *one* just may be operator error.

I think I better just get to bed and start fresh in the morning. Been one of those days.

Oh man. That is funny. It took me a bit to compose myself to post. Thank you for the laugh Mike on a day in which it was needed. I wish I could blame auto correct on that one but I think this on just may be operator error.

I don't know what to say except literal where literal, figurative where figurative?

Something interesting to seek out while it's available.

Title of the article: Even a Military enforced quarantine can't stop the virus study reveals.
Article from The New England Journal of Medicine. (released about a week ago.)

Brief synopsis.
Its an Experiment in which 3,143 recruits participated in ultimate quarantine conditions last May and were executed by US Marine Drill Sergeants.

They had:
Double layered clothed masks.
Absolute strict distancing.
One entry and One exit buildings.
Extreme cleaning and structured protocols which were observed and executed by Marine Drill Sergeants.

Result of the experiment was the locked down soldiers in quarantine had a slightly HIGHER rate of infection with Covid 19 than the control group.

Chances are this will be disputed and or censored by the powers that be of twitter,FB, Instagram etc.

Biden may have broken that pledge made in the first debate CV, but he did deliver on another statement of his when he said...

"We have put together I think the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of politics."

I agree with Joe and must say that his organization executed with precision beyond what I though was possible.

I've traveled many times through a small town called Penny farms which is home to a very nice retirement community. The main road is lined with oaks on each side which mostly covers the road from entrance to exit. While I'm unsure it to be fact, I do recall that his fortune helped create and maintain this facility to this day.

Regarding the discussion on riches, I think the mammon of unrighteousness(Luke 16) is self righteous works of the law. You can have 2 dimes or 2 billion and it won't matter at all.
Their treasure was their works and traditions which they exchanged for God and his truth. (Rom 1)

Psalm 115:4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

Jer. 2:11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.

Isa 57:12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

The value system of any society is not totally indebted to its Founders in particular, but to its 'makers'.
With all the exceptions, deceptions or deviations, at large the fabric of American ethics, beliefs and principles till the 19th century was deeply rooted in the Protestant Reformation.
All the delusions about masonay founders, etc, though to some extent true, does not change that.
The 'makers' of that country were families rooted in Scripture to which fact there is relevant proof to this day.
Good point. One thing that came to mind when reading through this thread was the Universities which sprang from those Reformers whom were believers.

Most, if not all of them now make attempt to either shed or hide the evidence of their Christian heritage.

The freedom of religion was established so our government could not make a law so we could be free to worship God from His Word apart from any say from government.

William Bradford tells the story of how his group of Protestant Christian Separatists wanted no part of the Anglican Church (the Church of England) or its politics, liturgy, rituals, or generally unbiblical nature as he saw it. However the Anglican Church, under King James, threatened these Protestant Separatists with huge fine if they did not attend their local Anglican Church regularly. Yes, government church attendance was compulsory in those days of no separation of Church and State!

Bradford's group of Protestants was able to find sympathetic Anglican Priests who would allow them to "attend" the Anglican Church, but worship God in a separate worship service that was more in keeping with their Protestant beliefs. When King James discovered they were skirting the system, he forbade the sympathetic priests from continuing this practice.

Desperate to get out from under this oppressive and despotic "State Church" Anglican monstrosity which was no different to them than the Roman Catholic "State Church" in its oppression, heresy, and denial of personal freedoms...the story of the pilgrims commenced.

Its known that the 1782 Robert Aitken Bible (a printing of the KJV) was the very first printing of an English language Bible in America, as well as being the only Bible ever printed by an Act of Congress which consisted mostly of those mentioned Founding Fathers.

That printing occurred between 1776, when our Declaration of Independence occured and 1787, when the Constitution was constructed.

So it seems a majority of the Founding Fathers had an interest in having the printing of the bible find its way into the pockets of the soldiers and common man as they were close to the size of the ones William Tyndale sent to England some 250 years prior.

Right you are Bro Tim. Can't wait to see what happens in GA on Jan 5. Another "major" (very minor, fixed quickly) main water line break to stop the voting for safety (check counts and see how many mail in ballots we need to bring in while all are out of the building in the middle if the night) perhaps?

I'm not sure if that maneuver will be necessary with all the democrats being urged to move to GA simply to vote though. I'm sure the number sufficiently needed to "win" will somehow make its way to the ballot box.

I'm sorry for your loss Colin and realize the flood of emotions your experiencing must be great. You said you fear being castaway. It follows then, that you feel you have to do something from being castaway.

Here's a promise the Son keeps:

John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

The Father gave the Son a commission:

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Here's what Jude had to say:

Jude 1:24-15 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

The Son is charged with the job of preserving that which belonged to the Father and was given to the Son to redeem in time of which none are castaway. Jude says He is able. I agree and I'm inclined to think you do as well. I will keep you in my prayers.

Mike,
Great analysis! If there is an issue... What specifically is the issue you have with ________? Generalizations skirt the issue.

------------------------------------

I think there's also an issue with this classification of one fits all.

Here's how I see it.

I've met a Canadian who was an extremely callous man. That does not mean all Canadians are callous. I've met an Irishman who was extremely rude, but that does not make all Irishmen rude.

See the pattern?

Instead, I see an individual as simply being rude who happens to reside in Ireland. Being Irish really means nothing in the equation.

Some have biases against Americans yet their bias is simply how they click and it is not my job to "fix them" by pointing out their flawed lens.

--------------------------------

Watcher,
What specifically do you disagree with Bro Lurker's example that lead you to think he is blind to the truth?

If you saw your brother on fire or in danger of being run over by a truck, how would you proceed to save him without offense? Please answer, I am humbly asking.
I would proceed by extinguishing the fire by the quickest means available and pushing one out of the way of an ooncoming truck. Neither would require words, but only actions.

If you mean figuratively, well there's the old saying of you get more bees by using honey.

Biblically, I would pray God's Word would be written on the heart of my brother. In Jer 31:3 God says with lovingkindness have I drawn thee and in Isa. 55:11 His Word accomplishes that which He pleases.

Discernment is required to pick and choose the tool required for the job at hand. The hammer, in my humble opinion, has been your goto tool. Opening hearts to hear is the work of God, not yours.

If I've missed your point in the question totally, let me know.

Then tell me, dear sir, how does one speak the truth without offense?
Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

If it requires offence to make a point, perhaps your opinion should be kept to yourself.

Watcher, I'm sorry I mentioned the tin foil thing. I should have made my point more politely to you.

I can only presume the sources you are choosing to rely on are nothing more than "news" outlets who are hellbent on lecturing webs of deceptive narratives. If that's true, then your view will have dirt on the lens your using.

You see being on the outside looking in, I can see things that are happening in America much clearer than you can.
I'm amazed at the ability you have which enables you to draw that conclusion. Why, you would need to have been privy to all knowledge contained in my grey matter for you to make such a claim. Do you require a tin foil hat for that trick or does it come naturally?

Being on the outside, you rely on someone to report what's going on here who is here and the facts reported are only as good as your source and if that's CNN, MSNBC etc. then your the one drinking their kool-aid.

Doc,
That is a nice piece of history you have there. The last time I saw a McGuffey’s Reader was in Walnut Grove. MN.

I’ll say it again, Brother James: If ignorance is bliss, Democrats must be the happiest people alive. Or as President Reagan put it, “It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.”
Ha! Thing is, even when they win they are still an angry bunch.

Watcher,
I've read books that conflict with the info gathered by the wiki sourced book. I suppose it's a matter of agendas. Some write for truths sake while others write for their narratives sake.
