Our Persecuted Brothers and Sisters! I ran across a news article here on SA today about a former imam who lost everything but his life (maybe that too by now, the article was 2 yrs old) for becoming a Christian. Then I saw some other articles about Christians being killed, tortured, and other forms of persecutions. Their tribulation is happening now, not some future event. You are right, Bro. Sean, we Christians in the western civilization, where such tribulations haven't happened in a few centuries, and a "we'll escape all this" mentality seems to reign, aren't ready for the persecutions that our brothers and sisters in other countries and cultures are experiencing. |

Here on SermonAudio:Shahram Hadian's ANSWERING ISLAM messages (especially THE TRUE FACE OF ISLAM and THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAM IN AMERICAN POLITICS) give great insight concerning the true followers of this religion. Brian Borgman's THE GOD OF JUDAISM AND ISLAM – IS HE OUR GOD? is a good message for professing Christians who think that the worship of one god (monotheism) – like the Muslims do – must mean the One True God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). As we take in this information let us remember that Muslims too need the gospel, for they are what we Christians once were: enemies of God (Rom 5:10), children of disobedience/children of wrath (Eph 2:1-5). |

Great Reminders! Bro. Brian, thank you for the observations & applications there were made in each part of this wonderfully presented series. Your passion for the Scriptures comes through in your teachings. |

Great Teaching! How God deals with the proud, the wicked, His enemies. Paraphrasing what Bro. Brian said starting at 42:00, as we adopted kiddies of God look around, seeing God's enemies -- and ours -- and gloat from our exalted position over their coming end, remember that, but for the mercy & grace of the Lord, that "enemy of God" person was each and every one of us at one time. |

A Great Drama! This really is a drama. And because it's part of the Lord's Scriptures you know all the characters & events are true. |

Great, Great, Great! Bro. Brian brings to life the individuals in this historical narrative of the Bible, revealing their traits, their characters. This is NOT a boring teaching! And behind the scene in this narrative, unseen & not named, but directing the way things are to go, is the Lord our God! |

Great Teaching! Oh, the human "materials" that our God works with. I am amazed, but grateful that He didn't -- and doesn't -- just do away with the lot of us. |

Great Teaching! The movie "One Night With the King" has, if I may say so, whitewashed, romanticized King Ahasuerus (Xerxes). The Bible narrative & other historical information that Bro. Brian gives presents Ahasuerus as a impetuous, volatile, wicked, despotic sexaholic who loved his liquor. And Esther got herself beautified to get next to THAT!? I am shaking my head... |

Excellent Series! I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I loved how Bro. Brian revealed the hand of God at work throughout this Book, the character of the human materials that God was working with, His love for the Jewish folks that were willingly still in exile when their little hind parts should have already been back in Promised Homeland years earlier. Our God is sovereign; He has never EVER wrung His hands or said, "I didn't see this coming. What do I do now? How can this mess be fixed?" |

Great Message!!! This was a very good message. I'm still surprised by the different heresies, and how many are just old heresies repackaged. |

Great Sermon! Thank you, Bro. Robert for sharing the information you researched regarding slavery (Biblical & otherwise). Some of the information is new to me. Also, I did not know about Liberia's "cast system" & its civil war. Thanks for pointing out the sinful heart of all people. |

Great Sermon! This message is very, very, very good. I listened to this a few years back, downloaded it, & have listened to it several times through the years. It's based on Ephesians 4. The mindset/heart of the lost contrasted to the mindset/heart of the Lord's own. |

Great Series! Thank you for this series. I've enjoyed the stories & your pointing out that the main Character, the Hero is God not the people.
Also, thank you for being able to keep the order of the books as they appear in the Bible and still give the chronological details of each book. |
