kjg-Where is alcohol in moderation allowed in the Bible?
Wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging.

You didn't answer my question,J Y. You only demonstrated that a RC "priest" will say anything whether they believe it or not.
Dave,re: your dad- A Christian's real family member often times is not one closest to their dna but one who shares in the same blood as their Lord.
Keep pressing,brother.

If that were true that they believe the guy is in heaven because he placed his faith solely in Christ alone then that would render the RCC and its false teachings, praying to saints, along with purgatory and the "making" of saints unnecessaary.

Two or three gathered...is in regards to church discipline. A Scripture very much taken out of context.
However, the prayer of A righteous man avails much.
So much for the adrenaline rush.

I'll ask again...
"I'm a little curious as to where the RCs envision the guy...considering the length of time and hoops that the "mother theresa" had to jump through to become a "saint"."

God bless,Dave...
came across this one,,,a 12 step program for compulsive talkers- anon anon
Sometimes it kinda seems that much of the content of J Y's post are circular...
they go on and on
Maybe the guy that passed away was a new born in Christ and happened to hear the truth and was naive or ignorant about the teachings contrary to the Word.
I'm a little curious as to where the RCs envision the guy...considering the length of time and hoops that the "mother theresa" had to jump through to become a "saint".

In case you missed it,lb,there is an article specifically about churches which have nasty football league parties...if you don't partake, then I guess that you shouldn't get your wings in a tangle.
And,yes,we should abstain from all appearance of evil...including all manner of sins.

Isn't it clear,J Y?
Baal was worshiped first,then "God".
After all,got to get the people to show up....wouldn't want them to miss anything important.

It's possible that the "transgender" confusion is a judgment upon our nation for the unisex mentality...women wanting to be "equal",have the same positions as men,be in the work force (now, most have to),dressing like men,"preaching",and men being irresponsible in not fulfilling their obligations, becoming "playboys" and absentee dads, etc.
...all stems from the pre-existing "unisex" mindset...encouraged through wicked entertainment,no less

He could begin by not infringing on freedom of speech. On the few occasions I've tried to listen to something on a well known site in regards to him that isn't positive...can't listen to it.
...can with other subjects
I'll try again.
If there is nothing to hide then there should be no problem.
Either the source is deceptive or someone feels compelled to keep it a secret.
The irony is that double speak is pretty obvious. Of course,by it even the masses are so fooled.
Goats eat anything.

Separate,Ladybug?
...except from the players in skin tight pants and the cheerleaders in their glorified underwear and those who watch?
If sex sells then those who are party to it are whoremongers and why is it that I must name names?
If you're not guilty,you won't be convicted.

Thank you again,Igno.
@ U S- a prostitute is one who uses her/his body in a sexual manner for money. A whoremonger is one who caters to that.
Maybe you're the few who don't get it but even a lost person understands that which is sexual.
Sadly,a lot of the church which was purchased by the blood of the Lamb continues to play fast and loose as the defiled bride/prostitute all the while bemoaning the sodomite "agenda" which is merely Judgment...fitting too.
Maybe one day they will figure out what the lost already know and, hopefully, have enough wisdom to thereby separate.
If not-grin and bear it.

Thank you,Igno.
Frank,"Pandora's box" was opened a long time ago.
Now we must bear the consequences.
Prostitution (selling sex for money) has been legal. It's just been glamorized and called something else.
This is an appropriate and fitting article with the annual "big event" of the whores and whoremongers on display before many an eager viewer, including many Christians.
And some wonder still how we got to this point?

...people been watching too many movies or getting buzzed?
Changing the outward appearance doesn't change the nature.
I'm wondering also why a gender confused person would want to be party to an organization which still uses a very gender specific word. Isn't a word like "boy" an affront to them? Doesn't one have to determine that they are not a particular gender in order to dress or act like they are?
...so,this can't be a
psycho issue after all or one to be taken seriously.

Pandora's box was opened a long time ago.
Most adulterous affairs began at the workplace between the man and the woman who should have been at home raising her children.
The "lgbtq" is just another abomination like adultery and lasciviousness.
This is called Judgment, especially on those who haven't had a problem with heterosexual sins or compromise.
They should have pulled and prohibited all of the carnal magazines/"goods" from businesses and hotels, etc. a long time ago.

Which part of "...Those who use liberty to fulfill their flesh and call themselves Christian, are foolish in their ways.
How close to the edge may one get before slipping? The ground underneath them is unstable. How unwise to suppose that we may set our own "limits".
Jesus never drank alcohol. He is our High Priest. The buzz that alcohol gives is a sorry alternative to the joy found in His Spirit through the new covenant.
Those who love Him don't find His commandments burdensome.
Whom the Son sets free,is free indeed."

-is a problem for you Ladybug and U S?

U S- "democrat supporter",not democrat.
and signing an anti-porn measure after publicly posing in front of his signed porn magazine...
feel better now?

Christians who compromise may still be saved. They just cease to be a light for God and miss out on an intimacy with Him.
A legalist would say that one is saved because of what they do/don't do.
If we love God,we obey Him (in deed and thought)

I adhere to Scripture Ladybug, yet you call me a legalist. You seem to think that man's methods are restricting. Don't you know that God's standards are higher?

Lb,what/Who we hold dear will cause division as will what we choose to feed on/drink.
You do have the poor habit of misjudging at times.
...as does U S,who thinks that anyone who isn't a trump fan must be a democrat.
U S,I am not wrestling with Trump just because I support my arguments with facts...one who is anti porn will be anti porn across the board. You were the one who brought up his anti porn measures. I was just showing you the hypocrisy.
