If my memory serves me right, church means in latin " the called or chosen ones " so this woman with lots of letters behind her name wants to be religious but not called or set apart. I know she is a member of the highly esteemed world of academia but to quote bugs bunny on this issue " what a marroon."

To state that an unbeliever is demon possessed is a tad bit beyond your perview. Even the scriptures testify against that position. We believe or not according to the eternal decrees of God. Being outside of the covenant of grace is because of our sins and the love of sin. Demons possession not necessary.
I guess if you are Roman Catholic you must listen to this guy. However ,I am not Roman Catholic I think your pope is an anti christ and your mass especially your christ mass idolatry, tis the season.
Why would the christian schools put up with this junk. Start their own league and compete against public schools outside the Minnesota schools such as Iowa, wisconsin, the Dakotas . Sports teams travel. Make the league a non factor or stay home and boo hoo.
We should pray for obama because the Lord told us to and he is Gods minister of justice whom the Lord had anointed president of the united states. He is responsible unto to God. God will judge him more strictly.
No doubt this is troublesome to have children taken out of the home for using natrual remedes for skin condition. For the most part I believe that the family should take litigation against the state of Washington no doubt. I am still confused as to who married the couple?Was it the church?
Washington is a pretty hippy dippy place where nature and the environment are sacred. One would think that cps would not take children out of the home right after a home birth. That was wrong. My question is are the Christian parents married? The story made it sound like they just prayed to God and started having children. ... If that's the case.. that's wrong also...

What really is at stake is the life and well being of the Church. Church disipline is what the reformers called one of the marks of the true church. The abandonment of disipline ( the churches ability to excommunicate members that refuse to repent of their open willfull sin) results in opening the door to wickedness in doctrine and practice. This is bypassing God's clear teaching in scripture. The putting out of wickedness should result in the sinner missing the grace and mercy of God which would lead to repentance. Not dealing with sin leads to gross hypocrisy.
Personally, I don't watch the Duggars, The one hundred thousand people that signed the petition is s drop in the bucket of people that love the show. I thin that the Duggars need to slap a court order on these folks for defeamation of charecter. Christian are supposed to be people of law and order and not just put up with their crap.
The Lord has destoyed the city in the past by the hand of the Babylonians and Romans. Jesus tells us that we will worship God not in Jerusalem but in Spirit and truth. The Jerusalem that is above she our mother, not Hegar.
The problem with the the day age folk is they like the scripture that says " a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day with God. Even using that assumption the earth would be 6 days times a thousand years plus another five in a half thousand years. That is a far cry from millions and billions of years. You cannot fit evolution in the bible. When you attempt to, damage is done to many key doctrines, such as original sin, and the attonement and even the doctrine of Christ.
