I love my spiritual family like crazy, and I want everyone to be in unity and fellowship together. I am never done with anyone unless they don't want anything to do with learning and humility. Then I back off. Not for life, mind you, but for the time being until I feel compelled to come back and strive again. Those on this forum who bicker and cause division get under my skin something fierce, and I suppose that's okay. I just need to back away from time to time. |

Yes sister, I've ran into a few here at SA that I've discovered were not what they seem. It appears Fortner is another one of those, how sad. No worries dear sister. That's why it's so important to read and research who we support. The article could be perfect straight through then one statement at the end could destroy the entirety of it. John Piper has a lot of good stuff, but he's off in many important points. We can't afford picking and choosing like some sort of spiritual buffet table. |

I don't place myself in the 'reformed' camp, or the 'Calvinistic' camp. I desire to follow Christ and Him alone. I took some time reading this article you sent over, and for the most part, I think he's out to lunch. I'm kind of shocked that you would embrace some of this LBug.  |
