Chris said, "So, God doesn't use the natural order of things, and mankind itself, to fulfill His plans? Satan is the Prince of this world, and is currently at the helm, so by all means...let's give him and his hoards a hand, sit back, and never do a single thing to make any sort of a difference.Abortion...eh, who cares. Pedophiles...let 'em have their fun, who cares. The sodomite infiltration...hey good for them, let them wreak havoc and dessimate the next generation. OBama/Clinton leading this nation...hey, what better choices...who cares because Christians shouldn't vote. Let's just sit back and do absolutely nothing, whatsoever..." This was worth re-posting, this response towards Been Watching was great. And read the rest of Chris's post. I don't know if any of you have read/seen the old WW2 political cartoons, but many of them hated, hated the idea of not speaking out against the issues of their day, they mocked the people who had that attitude, I have a book called, "Dr. Seuss Goes to War." Dr. Seuss did political cartoons, and he opposed, mocked, and dare I say he hated the attitude that the complacency that people of his day had and that Been Watching has. And I would emphasis that Been Watching, if he was consistent, would oppose the forefather |

"God help you Frank if Trump turns out to be another Hitler. Then what will be your excuse?"Let's say Trump does become another Hitler, let's just play that scenario, wouldn't a Christian renounce his support? I know Frank would renounce his support of Trump and since I voted for Trump I would renounce my support for him as well. For me personally though I have done Creation Seminars and in those Seminars I have proclaimed the evilness of abortion, I have distributed pro-life literature in a Pagan festival, I have emailed the President, My Senators, about the evils of abortion, about the gospel, about the evils of transgenderism, etc. And Frank has been a great encouragement to me, and he is a fine man of God who wishes to further the Kingdom of Christ, and I thank God for Frank... |

Jim, some remarks that you made kinda troubled me, as to your question regarding why I didn't say anything regarding Dr. Tim's statement, I did not see it, all I saw was you calling him "Tiny Tim" I was on a different devise But I think we can see something that is different between you and Dr. Tim, Dr. Tim said he was trying to clean up his language. Now as a Christian, I am glad to see God working in his life, it gives glory to God, this process is called sanctification, every Christian strives to be continually sanctified, but Jim, I see no work of God in your life, You are more interested in politics than in God, you are a racist (as many people have observed) you are pro choice at best (as many people have noticed and called you out on) you praise and defend evil people (as many have observed) you take godly men's quotes out of context (as many have observed and called you out on many times) I have said it before, but not only do I think that you're not saved, I think that you are dangerous to the flock of God. |

So the initial colony, the men who fought for America's Independence, the men who fought in the Civil War, World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam, etc. had a mental health issue? That's an interesting proposal, and by interesting I mean that it is a wild, illogical, anti-intellectual, disrespectful, thankless, idea that has no basis in reality, truth, history, or logic, and it is simply laughable. |

I had a co-worker call me Flander I wasn't offended, I don't think myself as Flanders, but it's certainly a lot better than being called a Presbyterian ![](https://media.sermonaudio.com/images/web/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) |

"Johnny Calvin (The Protestant Pope of a Pope hating people!) taught that all of God’s decrees are ‘eternal’ (i.e. made BEFORE Gen 1v1) & unconditional! Here are seven of God’s decrees that were NOT ‘eternal’ at all, & they were all conditioned on FREE WILL… (Oh dear Johnny!)Jer 38v17 Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house: (Oh dear Johnny!) 2 Kings 13v19 And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice. (Oh dear Johnny!) Deut 25v19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it. (Oh dear Johnny!) Jon 3v4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall (Oh dear Johnny!)" Would you agree with his ar |

Not really since God gave the Philistines into David's hand, that must mean that God...God interfered with the freewill of the Philistines. Now if you're consistent with your position, what choice did Nebuchadnezzar have when God took the kingdom away from him, and in God giving him a beasts heart, and having that for seven years? It was eternally decreed that it would happen, and was not Pharaoh's very purpose for being created is that God's power would be made known? And the non Calvinist says that God eternally desired all men to be saved, I've never met a non Calvinist who believes otherwise, however if we explore this notion, then you must realize that God eternally knew that all men will not be saved, and thus, His plan has, and will continue to be, defeated by the almighty will of man, and that in the past, present, and future, the creature has out willed the will of the Creator. Doesn't that affect God's sovereignty? And I've never meet a someone who could deal with the Double Jeopardy argument by John Owen. I think every Calvinist should know this argument, and I will put it quite simply: If Jesus bore the wrath of God for all of humanity, on what basis does God have for punishing any unbeliever in Hell? Doesn't that contradict the doctrine of atonement, penal sub |
