Good morning Dolores...I wanted to explain the use of links, and I hope you don't receive this as an attack, because it's anything but. Just the reason why. I wanted to say first though that US most certainly doesn't believe you're mentally ill, and neither do I. I was surprised that you would accuse him of that just because he linked to outside information(?)

Links are used due to the character limitation here, and responsible links don't point to anyone's mere opinion on anything or anyone, but rather, what a person says or believes, in their own words...the facts of the matter. How do we investigate and learn unless we research, and read the facts from their own mouths? We can post scripture all day long, but how do we use it to warn someone of another, if any sort of research into what they believe and promote is off-limits in the first place, simply because clicking on a link is considered hateful, belittling, and unreasonable?

Say I'm promoting the likes of Benny Hinn, and people say, "Christopher, please reconsider, and be warned...here's a link to all he believes, in his own words." My response: "I don't click on links, or pay any attention to those who post them, because I follow my heart.

Just curious what your response to me might be, that's all. 😊

Thanks US, I just noticed the request, and then read your comment further up. Saves me the time, and anyone could have answered their own question within minutes, instead of waiting on me, as if I have eyes-only access to some super, duper, top secret server where the information is hidden
away. Maybe I could have, or should have provided some additional info, but really, how difficult is it to verify anything, as opposed to saying, "links please"; a challenge inferring that a claim is most likely bogus.

"Kinda strange"...More like, kinda strange that anyone would lead off a comment with that before doing their due diligence first...that's what's kinda strange.

Thanks again for saving me the time just now.

But Draxler cited her religious activities – sharing her faith and offering to pray for people – as reasons why she must find a new home.

***Draxler(owner/landlord) knew Martin was recovering from strokes and a heart attack. When she began to cry, protesting that it was winter and she had no children living nearby, he responded that was not his problem,” said Draxler.***

Boy, talk about a heartless human being, void of any sort of empathy. Well, he got his in the end, and I'm so glad that God saw fit to take care of this elderly woman, and with serious health issues, to boot. We've seen indications of the tide on the attack on Christianity turning a bit, with legal victories, here and there, so I'll take them.

The purpose driven, contemplative prayer promoting "prophetess-preacher", Beth Moore, is an heretic, as are those who she surrounds herself with, such as Priscilla Shirer, who teaches and practices Eastern mysticism, and among others, her heretic, Pelagian father, Tony Evans.

The church is infected with these charlatans, because their message sounds good at first glance, as they contort scripture to force their views to work their "new revelations" into their own, personal gospels, and people eat it all up. Not everyone who preaches Christ crucified, and raises their hands in praise and worship, is who they claim to be, or of Him, simply because their basic statement of faith; tenants of general belief, don't seem to have any wrinkles, or because they openly profess their love and devotion, and seem to fall in-line with the basics of biblical Christianity, etc.

They can claim to believe the basics, exactly as we do, all the live-long day, but surely, that doesn't excuse, or give them any sort of a pass when they also add to God's Word, or contort His Word to promote new revelations, and other, clearly unbiblical, heresies.

We're not talking about people still learning here, and in ignorant error. We're talking about money making, heresy machines.

Sure has. Evil is nothing new, but there's something different. People seem colder, more callous, and more capable of things that most could never even imagine, like they're void of any sort of natural, God-given empathy.

Yes, sometimes a child is rescued, and thank God for that, but so many suffer horrific abuse, and nobody knows about it until the child's body just gives up, or they're murdered, outright by the scary monsters that their little eyes look helplessly up at. Then, there are the countless children who go missing, never to be seen or heard from again. I support missingkids.org, and when I scan through the dates missing, they range from a week, to decades. I can't begin to imagine a parents emotional turmoil, and never having any sort of closure as they cling to hope every day of their lives, praying for good news.

Like you said though, thank God for the ones rescued, and lives saved. I just can't imagine what's missing within someone that makes them capable of harming a child.
Many are Godless, but still incapable, so it's something than runs deeper...something else that's missing. Imagine the things that God sees every day...

Speaking of Satan, here's a reminder of his activity all around us, and the level of depravity and pure evil that mankind is capable of:

A Pennsylvania mother and her live-in boyfriend became enraged when her 4yr old son spilled his cereal while eating breakfast. They grabbed him, and beat the little boy half to death, then, picked up his limp little body, threw him into the tub, like a price of worthless trash, and turned the shower on with scalding hot water. The little boy died horribly that day in the tub, because he spilled his cereal.

Heartbreaking.

Ok, thanks. I sort of covered the "grace period" comment in my comments, but overall, I took things to mean knowledge being revealed in due time, but I also said that when it comes to matters of salvation, well, actually, I guess I just covered that below after editing my comment.

Bottomline is that there wasn't any disagreement on your main point, but it seemed like each was mis-understanding the others thoughts when it came to the specific types of knowledge, and time allowances for proper understanding. I didn't think TMC was including matters of salvation when saying something may never be revealed or corrected (I think that's what was said, anyway), but maybe she was.

Ladybug, I think you're mis-understanding. I agree with the above, of course it needs to be correct, and if TMC was including salvation issues, or any deviation, in her thoughts, then that I would disagree with, as far as that sort of truth never being revealed, or taking a lifetime, etc. to be understood properly. Confronting heresy, and taking error to task is every born again Christian's responsibility; to protect His Living Word from being adulterated with the ways of man. I don't believe there is any room for error when it comes to matters of salvation. I do believe that all of Christendom should be as one on all matters of salvation. I don't believe that God will leave those who are His, in error for the lengths of time being discussed, while allowing heresies to be promulgated, and eventually hard-wired in the meantime. Then again, His ways are not mine, so, thinking in mere human terms.

Hi Ladybug and TMC, I'm going against my better judgement butting in here, but when did that ever stop me...ha-ha.

I'm pretty busy so probably won't be able to respond, but I read through the comments, and I think there's a disconnect going on. TMC, I read through your comments a couple of times to let them sink in, so I knew where you were going with things, and I agree with you on The Spirit basically resolving error in His good time, or maybe not at all. We're all quite unique, are at varying levels of learning and understanding, and the methods and time The Spirit chooses to use to reveal and/or, correct, differ greatly from person to person, and each path to knowledge and understanding is uniquely different. Some might get it right from the very start, some might take years, and others, a lifetime, for whatever reason.

The disconnect, I think, is that while you're pondering the deeper truths of learning, and knowledge revealed, Ladybug is thinking in more black and white, and the need to have basic soteriology correct. Yes? No?

Just trying to bridge the gap, unless I'm totally mis-understanding. Okay, over and out...that's CB hick lingo for, goodbye, see ya, bye-bye now, caio, au revoir, adios, sayonara, later gator.

So we may praise the Lord together, and thank him for showing us such mercy, who deserved none whatever; indeed, the deserving was of eternal loss."

There are a couple of things that I consider quite often, and as recently as just last night:

1) When I find myself complaining, internally; sweating the small stuff in life, I quickly catch myself as I remember that, relative to the real problems people face here at home, and abroad, such as persecution, tradgedy, disaster, missing children, impending doom, and true pain or heartbreak, etc., the issues I stress, or boo-hoo about, are a blessing, compared to what so many are up against, have to experience, or endure. Once I come to my senses, I repent of my blindness, my selfishness, and thank God for allowing me to be so fortunate.

2) Another thing I think about quite often, is how I take everything for granted, and how I've come to expect each day to be as the last, whether it be my health, my finances, possessions, and everything else He has chosen to provide, daily. I think about how He could take everything away, in a moment, I think about ho

"For any who doubt depravity, we're getting a close look at it these days, Christopher."

Hi Mike, no matter how long all what we're seeing today has been going on, I'm really no less shocked each day, whether it's this story, the trans/non-binary nonsense, the push for, and enacting of new laws that remove any restraints from infantcide, the call for sodomite reparations, or the overall liberal madness that's being spewed.

Society though, is falling right in line as the once taboo becomes the new normal. I don't remember who Hitler's propaganda guy was, Goebel, maybe, but his propaganda genius was a hit back then, and it still works just perfectly yet today: "Say it loud enough and long enough, and the people will believe any lie", or something to that effect.

Our own Rhode Island Governor, Gina Raimondo, just signed an extreme abortion law onto the books, murder up until the moment of delivery, as one of the changes. The law only takes effect should Roe vs Wade be overturned, and will supersede anything at the Federal level, so the State's are being pro-active, taking, just in case, measures to protect the woman's right to choose murder, for any reason. My body, my choice, blah, blah, blah...a human baby in the womb has no constitutional rights, and neither does a father, for that matter.

Here is a statement from a Rhode Island Democrat who voted in favor of the bill:

"However, Sen. Sandra Cano, a Pawtucket Democrat who's pregnant, said she can't impose her faith through the legislative process so she supported the bill."

"Who cares what God Himself has to say...this is about women's rights", is basically what Cano was saying.

My goodness. I just can't believe all I just read. These bureaucrats, politicians gone mad, and pedophiles, are way out of control, but the problem is that they're getting the support to do it all, and not nearly enough pushback. Liberals gone mad, and woe to them all for causing such great harm to the little ones they're confusing and defiling.

Good morning John,

I think what you're saying is to love The Lord with all our heart and might, follow Him; doing our best to serve, be obediant, observe all of His ways, pray fervently for the lost, that He would make our path clear, guide us, teach us, and lead us to a proper understanding of all that He wants us to know; all that He wants to show us.

Everything will fall into its proper place when we are true seekers, with a heart bent on righteousness, and with open, pliable minds that crave understanding, as He would have us to understand, and as The Spirit chooses to reveal in His good time, and at His good pleasure.

Am I close?

Hi BM,
I expounded on pride after Dr Tim brought it up, as a very obvious general statement, and nothing to do with the topic being discussed. I'm not sure what's bothering you about it, or was your comment speaking to anyone who holds to differing views; accusing the other side of being filled with pride?

As far as the dismantling of texts to accommodate a fixed position...I wasn't attempting to accommodate anything. Re-read what I said. I thought the analysis was interesting, but instead of any followup rebuttal, it's just called, dismantling?

We all suffer from the pride virus, and it's probably the most cunning of characteristics, because it has the ability to expose itself in the most subtle of ways that we often don't even recognize within ourselves. Sometimes it's, in your face, obviois, and other times, maybe even most times, it lurks around in the subtlties of our speech, reactions, responses, body language, and eyes. Pride is an ugly beast that spends its life doing all it can to avoid ever catching it's own reflection in a mirror. We're all carriers of the virus, but it's not always easy to come to terms with the fact that we're infected, so we fool ourselves into believing that we have an immunity gene, because we don't notice any symptoms within our own selves, even though others do, as they keep telling us to go and get checked out.

Pride exposes itself in so many ways, but we're often so busy trying to get everyone else to go and get checked out, and treated, that we're totally oblivious to the fact that we're showing the very same symptoms and infected ourselves.

I'm infected myself, but I never realized how badly until I recognized, and came to terms with it. Since then, I notice it in the most minor of things that I was completely blind to

The link above points to an interesting study of John 3:16, breaking down some of the Greek words, and their various contextual uses in scripture, such as, Kosmos(world), Pas ho(all the), but with no English equivalent, translated as, whosoever. Houtoos gar(so for), in this manner/after this fashion.

The article is lengthy, emailed to me, and is an interesting exegesis on the breakdown of John 3:16. Just thought it was interesting enough to post up, if it hasn't been already.

Good morning Trying, I read through your comments, and welcome to the news forum. I noticed that you've been reading for the past 18mos or so, and was surprised that you've been able to remain silent for so long, but liked the contents of the comments you've posted.

I know my use of the phrase, gray areas, is never all that popular, but I believe there are gray areas; topics; non-salvation issues in scripture that just aren't all that clear, but are argued, endlessly, even though some things just won't be made clear until we shed these earthly vehicles. On the other hand, when we're talking salvation issues, I think interpretations need to be sure, and the only "secrets", or mysteries, are those of our own making as we mix our own recipes, based upon how we may be choosing to understand, rather than what God Himself has made clear. Short of basic, deeper, honest study, I think when anyone has to work overtime, in trying to get scripture to read differently than what God has seemed to make basic and clear, that's where the mysteries emanate and evolve from.

Does God love all? Anybody?
Does God save all? Anybody?
I lay down my life for my 'sheep'- is that 'all'?
Jacob I loved, Esau I hated - what does that verse mean?
2 Cor. 5:19, 'To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not counting their trespasses against them'Does this verse mean the entire world will be reconciled to God, Him not counting their trespasses against them?
Does 'world' mean 'all' here? Anyone?"

No! How's that for direct, and to the point?😊 Best I could do.
