I honestly didn't believe you'd deny what the original languages reveal but then your textual criticism "experts" need a following of faithful lemmings. Good job, Jim.

Read the whole thing ❗👍

Maybe you should take your cues from the bible instead of the likes of Kutilek.

Ezek 36:27 And I will put my **spirit** within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Spirit: Hebrew Ruwach, feminine gender. Appears 378 time in the Old Testament.

Spirit: Greek Pneuma, neuter gender. Appears 385 times in the New Testament.

So by what authority does your hero state the Holy Spirit is "Him"??? Seems to me he is guilty of exactly what he accuses the KJV of promoting.

Get a life, Jim!

Ha! It's comical how you like to divert criticism away from Dems.

You should know by now that you can probably count on one hand the real blood bought Christians in Washington and have fingers left idle. Some just lie better than others.

Please pray for me as I go to visit a critically ill man in the hospital tomorrow. Lord willing I want to talk to him about salvation, but I don’t know if he is responsive at this time and he may be at the point of death. He has visited our church several times in the past and I know he has been exposed to the gospel, but I don’t know if he is saved. Thank you.
Count me in, brother, and Godspeed.

“knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:14
"With Jesus"? He's already been raised. Why don't you get a real bible....

"Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also **by Jesus**, and shall present us with you."

By Jesus, J4J, meaning Jesus is the Father's means and Jesus alone does the raising as He said.... "I am the resurrection" and as commissioned by the Father.... "I will raise him up at the last day." in John 6:39,40, 44 and 54.

No Problem. It's still a free country, at least for the foreseeable future, so I'll respect your right to be wrong.

‭‭John‬ ‭6:44‬
You are correct, but I don’t see any problem with that. When we die we are drawn up to where Jesus is and Jesus will raise us up the last day.
I think what you have a hard time grasping is that a Christian would reject Calvinism!
Interesting. You say I'm correct and you have no problem with it and then immediately present the same contradictory interpretation..... again.

Jesus said "I am the resurrection...", not the Father. (John 11:25) Therefore, the Father's draw to the Son necessarily must be different from the Son's raising His redeemed on the last day.

I know this is hard for you to accept as it means believers are believers simply because they belonged to the Father and were given to the Son to redeem in time, as the scripture says..... not because they made a smart decision to choose God.

And who's talking Calvinism? The bible was written by God not John Calvin.

You have a great day, John.

Jesus said He came down from Heaven and was going to return, so how are believers going to be with Him unless God draws them up to where He is? Believers will come to Him on the last day as the verse says (John 6:39), this isn’t about an inability to believe!
Your interpretation has a problem. Jesus said "I will raise him up on the last day.".... not the Father. So it is clear the Father's draw to the Son and the Son raising His redeemed on the last day are two different things at two different times.

I've known you for many years here on SA, J4J, and I've no doubt you'll just ignore this and keep on defending what you've settled in your mind to be true and attacking that which you reject. But I can't help but wonder if you really love God with all your heart, mind and soul when you are so willing to manipulate or ignore His inspired words to defend what you want to be true.

The fact is God chooses who He will save. He chooses to save those who believe!
Pay attention, J4J.

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

The Son was charged, by the will of the Father, to lose none that were given Him. So all who were, are or will be saved belonged to the Father and were given to the Son to redeem in time. So your statement that God chooses to save those who believe is a half truth at best.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Draw = by inward power, lead, impel.

Remember my last to you about the prophets speaking about taking away stony hearts and creating a new heart fit for the indwelling HS? That's how the Father draws. That drawing brings repentance unto life. That's what happened to Paul on Damascus Road.

John UK,
Thanks for proving my point about Calvinism! You ask how can a man who is not righteous believe and be saved? The answer, of course, is that God must make the person righteous so that they will do the right thing and believe. They are saved because of what they do as a result of what God has made them.
I'm not going to get involved in this but you're missing some key elements.

The prophets say God will first take away stony hearts and give a new heart of flesh. Paul teaches that the law was imposed that all may become guilty before God; that they may know their sin and repent. Jesus said to Paul on Damascus Road "It's hard to kick against the pricks" and I'd interpret that to mean Paul was feeling his guilt for sin against a Holy God. Same in Acts 2. God's work of regeneration begins with a work on a stony heart to bring His own to repentance. That comes first and those who have been given to the Son by the Father to redeem in time will repent. There is no imputed or infused righteousness within a stony heart until after it has been smashed, swept clean and made a fit habitation for the indwelling HS.

You'd do well to cease your hatred of Calvinism and open you mind to ALL the scripture. Nothing more to say.

Thats terrible.
Hey bro.... Bible says the Grace of God is resident in His risen Son, Jesus Christ..... not a splash of water.

Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

What is the gift but life from the dead. And the dead are quickened by what? Living water maybe? Just saying.

John for JESUS wrote:
How anyone can think baptism doesn’t save you is beyond me. 1 Peter literally says baptism...saves you. Just like Noah’s Ark saved Noah. You are outside the body and don’t belong to Jesus until baptism places you inside of it and seals you in Christ.
J4J, You've got a little hiccup in your analogy. "wherein few, that is, eight souls were **saved by water.**" Saved by water, not the ark. "The like figure [water] whereunto even baptism doth also now save us". If Holy Spirit baptism now saves; so it did in Noah's day. Not John's baptism in lower waters which was for cleansing the carnal filth (works) of the flesh, but by the upper waters (rain).... a figure of HS baptism. Your analogy equates the ark to Christ Jesus which is wrong.

Man was given authority over all of God’s creation, and abusing any of it is sinful. The fact of ecological sin is already in force, God said it. We don’t need anyone else to add to it.
Hi Alan. I'm all for being good stewards of God's creation but when it comes down to labeling something an "ecological sin", it seems a slippery slope. Who is qualified to establish what is an ecological sin? And what will be the infallible measure?

The bible is exceeding clear that "sin" is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4). The "law" was given at Sinai and in the wilderness so unless "ecological sins" can be found enumerated there..... let's not become guilty of adding to God's law like the pope and his committee of devils are doing.

I know some Jews will have the Scripture in very tiny pieces of paper posted on their doors; part of keeping an Old Testament rule.
Probable from this text:

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. ***And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:*** Deut 11:18-20

Sadly, they've been wrongly taught for millennia what "these my words" were/are for if they had understood correctly they'd be sons and daughters of the Most High God and brothers and sisters of His Redeemer, Christ Jesus.

The sheer stupidity that passes for wisdom these days isn't worth wasting a keystroke. And the "faithful" hang on every word this fool utters.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4

Why can't all of you simply wait for the facts to be devulged?
You should be suspect of any individual making all of the decisions for our country. And when questioned, there is always subversion to avoid answering Yea, Nay. Hardly do we hear a straightforward answer from this president. He plays the blame game always and says he never asks for forgiveness because he doesn't need. This should give everyone pause.
There is too much confusion among our leaders. Don't add to it. Make sure you hear both sides of an issue before severing your brain from reality.
God turns man to believe lies if they don't want truth.
Whose facts shall we wait for? The Dems' or the Repubs? If one side is telling the truth the other side is lying. It seems you already have your mind made up that the Repubs are lying so why lecture us about waiting?
