Well, there's the problem. She used the scissors against the baby's throat. Dummy! It's common knowledge that if you are going to kill your child with scissors, ALWAYS do it in the back of the head. Then, you won't get into legal trouble.
"... when there is a recession there are no automatic forces to produce recovery."
Recessions are not a result of blind economic forces interacting in a free economy in an unpredictable way. They are deliberately caused. And, as long as we have fiat currency and a central bank, recessions are guaranteed.
Thank you Federal Reserve. History will marvel at how we could have been duped into such a stupid money system.
We owe $14 trillion pieces of paper - PAPER! It is not as if we are on the hook for x barrels of oil or y bushels of wheat. If we are going to use paper money printed out of thin air, why are we stupid enough to pay interest on it?
Our present calamity has nothing to do with decisions made by Obama or Bush. What you are seeing is the inevitable end game of fiat currency. How else was it going to end?
Your point (2/27/11 6:37 PM) generalizes further than this particular issue. The problem is with the liberal mindset that rights are only rights in the context of government.
You're absolutely right. Milk doesn't cease to be milk if you pull the label off the jug, and marriage doesn't change because the Federal law says it does. Civilizations rise and fall to the degree that their codified laws mimic natural law and don't try to create a new reality.
Oh, and Obama simply refusing to enforce DOMA is an impeachable offense, by the way. Don't hold your breath for any hearings.
Consider this: Adoption costs about 75 times the cost of abortion. I know this, because I went through the insane gauntlet required to actually WANT a child that someone else won't or can't raise. There's background checks, letters of recommendation, home evaluations, lawyers' fees, post placement social worker visits, court date(s), and on and on and on.
The wholesale slaughter of human beings is the first tragedy here. The unnecessary difficulty of adoption, my friends, is the second one.
Great Sermon! Great to see Pastor Marvin in video. Speaking the truth in Christ, as always. Thank you, sister Linda for making this available. Your friends, and brother and sister in Christ, in Fukuyama.
Yes. The Federal Reserve Act was passed at the end of the year in 1913. Read "The Creature From Jekyll Island". Its a great book.
I don't understand how any partnership can be excluded now. NAMBLA might want to watch this very closely. I'm sure there's a similar advocacy group for bestiality lovers.
