Local church discipline is just that, local church discipline. But given the narcissism of this sin, it is best seen as a testimony of what happens when you dishonor Christ and his church. Sad thing is I hope the church has a good attorney because this world is thankfully not our home.
if it was a free church, they wouldn't need a lawyer. the pastor signed nondiscriminatory papers to go with the 501c3. funny thing there, bible calls us to differentiate (create distinctions, discriminate) between right and wrong, however fed statute now says that transgenderism is a right and is being taught under nondiscriminatory lingo.

sure, if they just had your freud god there to talk down the crazy man in the cemetary, then Jesus wouldn't have had to call out the demons?

seems you are rejecting the bible again for your religion.

One must be filled with the Holy Spirit to resist the devil.

Mike wrote:
tribulation vs great tribulation
is that kind of like saying "it depends on what the definition of 'is' is?"

two lawyers go to a café and over a cup of hot coffee lament the persecution of a Christian friend.

lawyer one says, "too bad he didn't realize when he was thrown to the lions he didn't know that it was only great tribulation, not the great tribulation. surely he could've said what they wanted him to say. the great tribulation doesn't come to Christians. what a waste of a life!"

lawyer two agrees, "you see how free and safe we are? if he only knew that Christ will rapture us before we see the great t, then he would've known he wasn't in his day of testing"

and Pew Joe walks by the cafe window sees the lawyers and goes, "ain't it great to be in a country with guys like that who mediate for our freedom and safety?"

and the lawyers finish their pastrami sandwich and change the subject to football.

If thousands of early copies show a phrase missing, I don't want it in my bible.

God has provided our generations thousands and thousands of early copies that prove this is not a late religion, knowing these copies take us directly to the witnesses of the Christ.

Christians who reject this reject God's Providence. As we see Islm try to conquer through fear, their books precede Erasmus. if Christianity is based off of 1200AD documents, they argue us a new religion.

folks, we follow the Ancient of Days and our Savior came in the first century, our calendar year is based from His life, the apex of time is in CHrist.

It is biblicists countering the attacks of critics, such as 1Cor 15 being the first Christian creed, they proved to worldly historians that this was written just some yrs after Christ, and even this wordly historians admitted the veracity of their argument.

CHrist is preserving His Word. For others they trust KJV with the fast paced changes of society, and they preserve church and family. This is also preserving God's Word.

Jim, I'm blessed that you have begun to do the research on this. I agree we must reject mysticism and follow Christ.

Hi McC, just individuals raised normally who go astray? there was a man posed as a sodomite and went into one of their bars. all on video and asked them how they got into it. they all described being raped as little boys. you ever lived among a group of them? its predatory. they go into the men's bathrooms where they are seen by all, they abuse each other with masochism. you think this is just about two guys who are sinners in their private homes?

lets examine the Hollywood/music industry dominated by kabbal. shall I show you Madonna's rabbi? shall I show you pictures of her posing as a satanic priestess? -- this is a religion, it is already a cult.

Historically... look at deut 23:1 (did you read my other scriptures so you can see where I'm going)? -- the demasculating of the men was the cult. it was baal and ashtorah and they would degrade the masculinity to worship these gods (condemn the natural order)

sodomy is prostitution, and I believe this is a crucial apologetic point, because by accepting this, we are creating a society in which children are groomed for cultic perversions. shall I play the link of the boy, half clothed at pride parade?

I'm ready with scriptures in next post...

Hello BMcB, so you see its the same word? well, good then.

the topic is too offensive to dive more deeply, (I'm not wanting to put out the scripture references, although they make my point, please forgive me for ending it here) but I will say I disagree with looking at the practice as "personal" or disconnected from cultic practices. Good day to you.

I looked it up and found the NIV used the word cult prostitute and the Greek dictionary defined the Greek word as cult prostitute. what's the problem with that?

not objecting to your concerns with particular people, just saying, the translation seems pretty direct there.

Jim, you're dancing around the subject. it has always been a pagan symbol, right there on SA over the cross, and is mentioned in Amos 5 and in Stephen's final words before he was martyred. A Messianic Jew has written a book on this matter. I linked you to a Torah website where they say the symbol did not come from Judaism (ie Torah Judaism).

and there is only one way to be saved, through Jesus Christ, does not the NT warn against endless genealogies? here I thought you believed in salvation by grace through faith? or are we adding to Christ, CHrist and paganism?

the semitic argument has nothing to do with this, its unlikely that any person here doesn't have some natural heritage to Abraham over thousands of years of heritage, this has to do with a viewpoint that god is shekinah female and that Jesus is in h@des.

...as represented by the 666 symbol above positioned over the cross.

Now Jim, what good would it be if you were advancing a pagan 666 symbol as holy?

I can show you where the Menorah and the Cross are in the bible.

Can you show me your symbol is in the bible (the one in the photograph above sitting on the cross of Christ, is Christ subservient to anyone?)?

Are you avoiding my point with slurs? we had a friend who knew the scriptures and spoke of Christ as the light represented in the Menorah, was there not one left open for the Messiah the blessed hope to come? He was Hebrew and he had utterly rejected dispensational theology. I'm just making a point about your racial slurs, how can one insert such filth into a discussion that began with "there is no longer Jew nor Greek, but we are one in Christ?"

I celebrate in my heart the coming of Christ, it is the beginning of the story for those who haven't heard, of the identity of the Messiah.(there is much prophecy, much history and theology in this) I celebrate in my heart this event as did Mary, and the understanding it brings to young ones... in our home we celebrate Christ, and we mark the events of Christ's life we ponder them and we share Him with others.

We also sing songs of praise to Emmanuel.

So these scriptures should be shared and read and celebrated, oh yes.

And I don't celebrate Christ's death. Yes, His resurrection. His death makes me sad and also strong feelings of conviction of the shameful cross. There the Son of God "hangs" in my place because my sin and others is really that great. He took my punishment.

I celebrate His Resurrection in the same manner, through reading of the scripture, through remembering and prayer and fellowship.

Thank you Lord that you came to the earth you created, humbled yourself in the form of the flesh, incarnate. Fully God, fully human.

Too many romanists who give RCC ownership over the story of Christ.

We see in the OT that when Israel and Judah became disobedient to God HE sent their enemies, eg: Assyrians, to punish the people.
When Europe and America disobeys God rejects HIS Word and doctrines God thus punishes them.
So GOD is sending the Muslims to "conquer" the western nations for their sins, wickedness and abominations to punish them.
Are these Governors doing battle with God's wrath?
prophetic, can you show me where the prophets went quiet and turned their back on the innocent who were suffering under the selfishness of the rich (as they were proclaiming God's judgment)?

just know that the apathetic prosperous church is part of this judgment.

Will God show mercy to those who did not show mercy? responsibility is on our shoulders to live rightly.

And if He gave our society a way to resolve issues and we took it not, I don't find it "spiritual" but rather an excuse for apathy.

don't get me wrong, I think things are falling, but for the very apathy that seems to be within your comment.
