At that time, God showed me grace and sent a few people into my life to share the good news of Jesus Christ and the importance of loving Jesus rather than simply admiring Him. At that point, Jesus Christ rightfully became the Lord of my heart. I then started to have a passion for God’s Word and sharing the Good News with others. From 2011 to 2016, I attended Moody Bible Institute and Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois for a Bachelor’s in Pastoral Studies and a Master’s in Ministry Leadership. I have a passion for teaching and a desire to love people through discipleship and pastoral ministry. I love seeing the look on someone’s face when the Bible makes sense to them, or when they realize that there is a God who loves them! Little things like this fill my heart with joy. I am also inquisitive and delight in apologetics—having faith-oriented conversations with people of various beliefs and values. I love to be challenged and to learn about new things, regardless of what it’s about! For this reason I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent in Poland. I had the privilege of doing missionary work there a couple of times for a little over a year total. That’s how I met my Polish wife, Zofia, in June of 2011. One thing I loved about my internship in Poland was that I was the foreigner with a different culture, language, and way of life. It was all so humbling to learn how much I do not know, but I fell in love with the people there and have come to truly appreciate the God-given diversity. Sadly, this intercultural adventure had to come to an end. Zofia and I moved to Chicago at the beginning of 2015 in order for me to complete my studies at Moody. Fast-forward to 2016, we were planning on moving to Dallas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary, but some of those doors closed and gave us reason to believe the Lord wants us here in Arizona! Currently, my wife and I are doing ministry here in the Valley. My wife and I are also blessed with the opportunity to do a ministry internship Southeast Valley Bible Church in Gilbert, Arizona, where we are teaching and engaging in discipleship, as well as being involved in the life of the church. I pray that the Lord will continue to give us zeal to do His will and to serve His people. | more | less
