Wonderful sermon! This is the clearest biblical teaching I have ever heard on head covering. Quite a number of years ago we were reading in home church this passage, looked at one another and said "why aren't we doing this?" And what's more why hadn't I taken the clear teaching of the passage as God had written it, after all I had read it many times.
From then on in worship I have covered as it is acknowledging my submission to God and its hard to explain to people but it is a real blessing and I feel safe under my Heavenly Father. Not a popular thing to even say the word submission nowadays but truth is truth. I have been mocked but it doesn't matter. It might seem weird as I have no church to attend but even when on my own, on the Lords day I listen to a service and cover my head. God bless you dear brother for this sermon and for standing firmly on God's Word alone.
Great truth. The unsaved has no living God to renew his power and his vision, and usually abandons his plans after while, even if for a time it seemed that he has so many resources in him to go on. But the child of God, when called to Christian life and ministry, has the Lord renewing continually his powers to persevere until the end!
Perfect Savior. Perfect in character, perfect in salvation, perfect in doing His Father’s will, perfect in everlasting love, perfect in power, perfect in everything. What a Savior!
Powerful, beautiful sermon Oh what a sermon on our wonderful Saviour.
Pure scripture, not words of man.
Thank you from my heart for the blessing received from this dear brother.
Oh what a Saviour
Great Sermon! A wonderful sermon on our mighty God. It was so insightful and clarified clearly the whole situation of where the whole world is in the situation with Covid19. Pure exposition of the Bible with a lot to digest. This is as it should be, I thank our Lord for shepherds like Pastor Fitzpatrick who stand courageously upon the rock of our salvation: our Lord Jesus Christ without any compromise. To God be the glory, forever Amen.
Hebrews 13:20-21 It was lovely to hear this passage at the end :)
Hebrews 13:20-21 King James Version (KJV)
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Trust ye in the Lord for ever! May this encouraging and timely message be used to strengthen troubled minds and embolden fearful hearts for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength!
