“ Want to help ” I have always believed in a spiritual Israel more than a national Israel and I love Todd's sermon but the final word is the scripture. Your question has got me thinking. The only way to get a solid answer is to be a noble Berean and study hard, search the Bible and pray for God to answer your question. I am going to do that for myself because I feel like I really need to know for myself. God bless your search brother.

Try this message. If God has forgotten Israel He is not the covenant keeping God I know.
“ Puzzled? ” When I read the Old Testament God has incredible patience with Israel and if they are symbolic of spiritual Israel that is a good thing because I know God must have incredible patience with me. I love God so much at times but most of the time I ain't much. But patience with me isn't enough to save me. I need salvation. If Israel is no longer God's chosen nation, will he also give up on me? Is there anyone listening to this message able to encourage me regarding this concern? If so please add a comment. I will be looking for one. It just seems to me that God loved Israel so much. Would he abandon his people?

“ Powerful Message ” Wonderful to be reminded how the Lord uses sinful men to fulfill his purpose - Ruth, the Moabitess, a descendent of the incestuous relationship of Lot, in the lineage of Christ. Thank you for a sermon that talks about Lot as the Lord talks about him - as a righteous man. I am so tired "vexed" of preachers condemning Abraham, Jacob and Lot. Who can lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?
