You are right God has a plan for Israel, and He HAS NOT forgotten them. In the Millennial Reign is when Christ will sit on the throne of David, and He will be Israel’s king. There is a plan for
Israel, and there is different plan for the church. God alone made the covenant with Abraham because Abraham was put into a deep sleep. And, God will not break the covenant(s) that He made.
Who is Israel? This is the question Bro. Todd asked? I don’t get the same answer from my Bible Study that Bro. Todd provides in this message.

“ Great Sermon! ” Israel is Israel. Always has been and always will be. Israel is the bride of the father as stated in the Old Testament and the Church is the bride of Christ. Both brides will be taken care of in the end.
“ Israel, Christians & Foreign Policy ” Recommend the sermon "Israel and Apostasy" by D Scott Meadows on Sermon Audio which is relevant to this subject. Israel was destroyed in 70 AD as Jesus prophesied. MODERN Israel is not biblical Israel. Don't listen to Modern false teachers who use Old Testament promises about Israel, and curses, to gain Evangelical financial and political support for Israel and it's Wars. Entire infomercials and TV evangelists spread disinformation and propaganda by this confusion regarding the modern state Israel.
“ puzzled ” Our Amazing promise keeping God said, Deuteronomy 31:6," Be strong and brave. Don't be afraid of them. Don"t be frightened. The Lord your God will go with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." International Children's Bible. In language so simple a child can understand. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. KJV John 14:18, Words of Christ, " I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. KJV Paul reminds us,I Corinthians 14:33 "God is not the author of confusion , but of peace as in all churches of the saints," KJV God knows His Own and we can fully count on that. The scripture is not written as a point of contention but must be rightly divided with understanding coming through the Holy Spirit's power, as given through Christ Jesus from the Father. Amen
“ Not every Jew is saved! ” It is true that not every Jew is a Jew. When Paul spoke these words he was actually speaking of Jews. They are not all saved. But God promised to Abraham, to David, to Mary, and to the apostles that Christ would take David's seat as King over the house of Jacob. And it is also promised that Israel as a nation would repent. And when they do Christ will respond and He will return. This however should not be an issue that causes division among believers. If Christ has died for you, you will trust in Him and you are saved. God bless everyone whom He loves is my prayer.

“ Much Thanks for response. ” I very much appreciate everyone's response. I see many promises to God's people in the Bible. But the best I can tell Israel is God's also. Promises made to Abraham and to David and to Mary and the apostles. I have been studying like mad today. I was so consumed by this question I couldn't think of anything else. I lost a whole night's sleep over it. I am going to look for Mr. Friday's sermon for a new perspective, but I know the Bible is the word of God and is the final authority. “ Great Sermon! ” Hi Adam, He won't abandon his people - The Church - He says the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. But what about you? Are you a "new creature"? Are you born again? How do you know if you are saved for sure? Search for 102217224310 on SermonAudio and the speaker there talks of similar worries and the answer for him was reading John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Don't ask man for an answer though - ask the one who really knows and who will turn no one away - ask God and read His Word (KJV) and consider John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name - and Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, - and the words of Jesus on the cross - "it is finished"
