“ Great Sermon! ” I was blessed to grab a hold of this message. God's sheep glory in Christ and Him crucified alone as their only hope. It's all of the triune God's salvific work. Christ is our all in all. He alone is worthy and there is nothing worthy, nothing good in man...absolutely nothing. Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift of eternal life.
“ Great Sermon! ” I thank God for beating self-righteousness out of me. From Roman Catholicism to Arminian Baptist, then Lordship Calvinist, my self -righteousness got worse and worse and was actually nurtured by religion. A clear teaching of the Gospel by the grace of God, have shown me just how utterly wicked and evil I truly am. This series has been a blessing!
“ Great Sermon! ” This is absolutely a message that should be preached Sunday after Sunday. The self-righteous does not really believe just how totally depraved a sinner he or she truly is. Self-righteousness is the most insidious sin of all.
