In every way perfect. In every way necessary for all believers, PASTORS, and our neighbor 24/7.
This beautiful, Christ honoring, man is certainly not a traditionalist. His preaching of the word is effective.
IT IS EFFECTIVE TO PREACH LIKE SERMONS ABOUT CHRISTMAS. This message turns the heart to the LORD.
“ Great Sermon! ” I am going to try to help answer the question posed by Aliyah. I hope I am correct when I say what Todd was trying to say is we have two natures if we are believers. One is earthly which cannot keep from sinning and one is of God which cannot sin. If we have that new nature it cannot and will not sin. Our new nature is no more capable of sin than our old earthly nature is capable of keeping from sin. Paul expressed the frustration of having both natures in Romans chapter 7. I am not sure if that helps or not but that is what I get from the sermon.

“ Christ Honoring, God Glorifying Sermon! ” What a God! What a Saviour! What a pastor we have in the midst of this perverse generation we find ourselves in.
My prayer is that his flock recognizes the gift God has given to them as he exalts the name of the LORD. Surely they are growing in the grace and knowledge of the God man, the Lamb that was slain to redeem us.
May the presence of the Lord abide upon this servant continually.

“ A Five Star Sermon! ” Jesus the wisdom of God and the power of God.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of his power. The Gospel of Christ is the power of GOd unto salvation.
“ Learning From Scripture ” Todd did an admiral job with this subject matter. I always thought it meant that you should have no material debt. That you should be a good steward of what God has provided. Todd expands on this and explains some very significant points. This lends itself to a greater understanding & drawing closer to God.
Todd points out & explains that this particular passage deals more specifically with pay what you owe outside of money. If someone deserves respect, pay it, etc. A more universal explanation.
He also talks about the Lord washing feet. He explains that the point of that was symbolic for us. In this world, as we walk through it, our feet get dirty. Contact with this world dirties us. By listening to the Word of God, our feet get washed & we are clean. Everyday it must be done again. Very enlightening.
He also points out about preaching and what it truly is. Preaching in & of itself is equivalent to one beggar telling another beggar where he got bread. I saw the truth of that.
