“ Great Critique! ” Thank you. I was in pentecostal/charismatic churches for 10 years in the 1990s, leaving just as the Toronto blessing arrived in Australia. One thing I noticed was that the sermon that "started" Asbury
"revival" went for 26 minutes. The piano started being played 5 minutes before the end, so for 1/5th of the sermon. Music can be used to manipulate the emotions. Been there, experienced that! I'd rather be cautious than gullible.
“ Offended by sin ” I agree it’s no surprise what happened at the Grammy’s, this year or in year’s past, but shouldn’t we be offended when God is mocked? When sin is celebrated, and this year especially when Satan is openly worshiped? CBS had tweeted before airing the show they couldn’t wait to “worship†with Sam Smith. They want to lead our children away from Jesus Christ, and become desensitized to evil
“ History and baptism ” If you want to study what the early church had to say in regards to baptism and are willing to study different perspectives you will definitely benefit from this series!
“ Series Need to Hear ” Hard to pick a favorite series...but I feel like this is one we should all hear. Such an important topic and I love they way it's broken down.
