The importance of our previous opening comments merit repeating as the Bible is our fully sufficient source for every question and from which every answer must derive. The pivotal verses in this discussion are:
2 Peter 1:3: . . . seeing that His divine power has granted to us EVERYTHING pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Timothy 3:16–17: All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for EVERY good work.
Today's questions:
1 - Genesis 3:3: "You will die." How did Adam and Eve have any concept of death? What did it mean to them prior to sin and death entering the world? 2 - Psalm 51:1-12: I believe this applies to me, but verses 13-19 seem different. How can I teach when I believe no one is listening? Is my example the teaching from me? I certainly need to do a better job of it, then! 3 - How do I live day to day in God's forgiveness? 4 - Please tell me what God means by "order on order, line by line, line by line, a little here, a little there (Isaiah 28:13). 5 - In studying Acts, we learned about the anointing of the Holy Spirit on New Testament believers. What do we know about the Holy Spirit before His arrival in Jerusalem? What do we know about Him in the Old Testament?
