Jesus calls the Gospel "the law of liberty." It is the standard by which all who are in Christ will be judged - and really by which all of us have been judged. At the cross. In the realm of the gospel, in the community and fellowship of Christ's true people, the Gospel reigns and therefore so does mercy. James warns the hypocrite false "Christian" who judges others without mercy, that they are under the Law themselves and will be shown no mercy by Christ on that Day.

Excellent! This is a very good series. Pastor Crippen expounds from Scripture and zeroes in on "the heart" of man. The references to abuse are heartbreaking but must be heard. May we have a heart of mercy and know when to judge righteously towards those who are abusive wolves.
