What draws you to Jesus Christ? Everywhere Jesus went, He attracted a crowd. What about Jesus drew people? Certainly, not his good looks, but rather his personality, his display of power, and most importantly His teaching drew people to come and listen to what He had to say. But the ultimate factor is God the Father. Man of his own free will is unable to come to Christ. But we are drawn to Christ by the Father as we are instructed by Him. In the day in which we are living, the Father instructs us through His Spirit who convicts us of sin, and then opens our eyes to the truth concerning Christ. Everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Christ. In Jesus' day, Jesus Himself was God's representative, and through believing the message Jesus preached, people were drawn to Christ. Jesus is the bread of life, the source of salvation. Anyone who eats of this bread will live forever. And the bread that He gives is His flesh. Jesus would give His life as a sacrifice for our sins so that we might have life!
