When asked about their earthly homeland, many would accuse us of treason. Christians, however, are the best citizens who hold God's commandments high and live by them. The world sees it, but often holds it against us when push comes to shove. Yet, we will always obey God more than man, from whom comes their authority. But, what is our citizenship? We belong to the citizenship of Heaven first, allowed to live in a land unhindered where we can worship God in peace and tranquility. We remember this theme as we remember and celebrate the birthplace of our nation here below and give thanks to God for the freedom we have to worship Him.
