After Aaron and his sons had offered the offerings as instructed by Moses, two of Aaron's sons put fire in their censers, put incense upon it and offered profane fire before the Lord. God consumed them just like He had consumed the burnt offering at the end of the previous chapter. They offered fire that God had not commanded and thought that He would accept it. Moses then explained saying that all who approach the Lord must regard Him as holy. He must be glorified before all people. Often in the church, people think that they can approach God however they want. Pray a prayer and He has to accept you. The sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, thought that and became the offering. God's wrath hasn't changed toward those who do not consider Him holy.
