Victory Over Family Turmoil Luke 15:11-24 The Parable of the Prodigal Son: The Wayward Son.The parable of the Prodigal Son is the greatest and most beloved story ever told in human language. God loves and reaches out to the most prodigal of men, and He runs to embrace any prodigal son who repents and returns home. God forgives His prodigal son and restores him, no matter how terrible the sin and failure of the prodigal. He said, "Give me my inheritance. He wanted money and the things and possessions of the estate (world) which he was to inherit. He wanted to get all the Father would give him, so that he could enjoy it now.the prodigal arose and returned to his father. This was the greatest of moments for the prodigal, the most momentous event in the life of any sinner. It is the summit of human experience. The prodigal returned to God: he sought reconciliation with his Father.
