Politics is dirty business, or so it seems. Every administration in my lifetime has had some scandal attached to it which casts a disparaging light on their policies or character. Will there ever be a perfect government here on earth. One day there will be a perfect government here on earth when Jesus Christ, the KING of kings will rule perfectly over the nations of the world. But He will not rule alone, for others will join in reigning with Him. During His reign, righteousness and justice will prevail, and lawbreaking will be swiftly punished. He will rule with a rod of iron. Today, our response to His rule over us is that we are to serve the Lord with fear, rejoice with trembling, kiss the son, that is, love and obey Him, and then put our trust in Him. Jesus Christ indeed is the King of kings and Lord of lords!
