What you pray for, ending in thanksgiving A.Begin with knowledge of His ways & will B.Your life transformed by that—3 images C.Your attitude transformed by that, so you are II.What you have secure, which prompts thanksgiving A.New Life B.New Citizenship C.New relationship These are the foundational reasons for Thanksgiving Nothing can take them away from you (cf. I Peter 1:3-6). So when you think about why you can be thankful this year, do not start with what is so temporal. Start with this legacy! If you simply are not moved by this, come before God and ask Him to open your eyes until you see.
