The backdrop is dark as Jesus enters Jerusalem. Man’s sin is always ugly, dark, twisted, perverted, and hard to look at in comparison to God’s glory. As Jesus gets closer and closer to the cross, we begin to see the light of His glory expose the hearts of those all around Him including the Jewish and Roman authorities. He is the sinless Son of God and everyone else around him are sinners. What will happen to the Servant of the LORD? What will be the fate of the King of the Jews? The title this morning will be “The King of the Jews.” We will consider the following 1) The King of the Jews Before the Sanhedrin 2) The King’s Silence Before Pontus Pilate 3) The King’s Sentence is Death by Crucifixion
