After offering the bull and the ram and putting the blood of the ram upon Aaron and his sons' right ear, hand, and foot, Moses prepares a wave offering for Aaron and his sons, composed of the fat of the ram, the right thigh, and one of each of the different types of unleavened bread and has them wave it before the Lord. Moses also offers a wave offering as well of his portion of the ram. Then Aaron and his sons spend a week at the door of the tabernacle of meeting eating from their portion of the ram which they boiled along with the bread in the basket of consecration offerings to complete their consecration. God warns them that if they leave before this is completed that he will kill them. As it says in Hebrews, all of these things are a parable for us that we might understand God's holiness and the order of his heavenly decrees.
