When a crisis arises in your life, where do you turn for help? We quickly learn who it is that we supremely believe is able to provide the strength, courage, understanding, and peace that we need when a crisis strikes. What should I do? Where do I turn? Who can help me?
Daniel (yet in his teen years) faced a crisis with his life hanging in the balance as King Nebuchadnezzar's wrath was turned against all the “wise men” in the city of Babylon for their inability to tell him his dream. Death was knocking at Daniel's door and where did he go for help? Unlike the worldly wise men of the king, he fled to his merciful Savior and Lord who alone could rescue him and who gave Daniel a heavenly peace and wisdom in the midst of that crisis in addressing those who threatened his life. He had the mind of Christ. So do you in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:16).
Let us be teachable and submit to Christ and His Word today. Our main points are: (1) Where Do the Worldly Wise Men Turn in a Crisis (Daniel 2:10-13)? (2) Where Does Daniel Turn in a Crisis (Daniel 2:14-18)?
