1. The Condemnation of Compromise Israel was guilty of compromising with the nations around about them against the goodness of God in bringing them out of Egypt and into the Land flowing with milk and honey. Paul in Romans 12:1-2 holds up the mercy of God and beseeches us to present ourselves to God's service.
2. The Corruption of Compromise God warned Israel that if they did not drive out the people that they would become thorns in their sides and vex them (Numbers 33:55). They became a corrupting influence on them, like a festering wound.
