In this expository sermon Dr. Felker shares the prophecy of Jesus concerning the coming Great Tribulation and His return. He begins by sharing the mandate to proclaim the gospel to all nations, which will be met with persecution, which became widespread prior to the fall of Jerusalem, and will be widespread during the upcoming tribulation period. Yet Christ encourages believers to see persecution as an opportunity to witness to people we would not normally have access to, to rely upon the Holy Spirit, and to persevere through it. Then pastor Felker talks about the Great Tribulation, the beginning of which will be signaled by a special sign. Christ assures His people that this tribulation will be limited in duration. That's because Christ will return to intervene. His coming will be preceded by cosmic disturbances and manifest great power and glory. Thus He will vindicate Himself and declare His true identity, and then deliver and gather His people from earth and heaven before He comes to earth to reign! [The PDF sermon has additional content]
