What happens when wicked men attack the family, and try to lure the children away from their parents and into disobedience?
The consequences are severe, as we have witnessed just this weekend with the attack upon a Godly family in our area.
Wicked grandparents sought to steal away the hearts of the young children from their parents, and when the parents discovered it, they quite properly cut off access to their children. They took seriously the duties of parents to protect and raise their children.
Then the grandparents turned to the courts, and wicked lawyers and judges and counselors have done great harm as they have united to attack this family and to continue the poisonous access to the children by the grandparents.
The tremendous strain placed upon the parents of these precious boys at last proved too great, and mere hours after their mother was threatened by their grandparents with bodily harm, she suffered a major heart attack.
By God's grace, it appears she will recover, but the question must be asked, what can be done to rescue these poor victims from the tyranny and violence of the courts, the judges, the lawyers, and the so-called Christian counselor who have so abused them?
The Psalmist cried out to God repeatedly over the vicious harm inflicted upon him by wicked men.
In Psalm 35, David describes how the wicked plotted, and lied, and schemed, and gloated, and bragged, and assaulted him.
The psalmist describes in many ways the assault waged these six years against this poor family by the courts, grandparents and lawyers.
Even as David cried out to God for deliverance, so too our church cries out for deliverance in this matter. |
