The last time that I spoke to you from this passage I set before you the truth that there is an inner heart experience with Christ which each and every Christian has taking place there. And this experience is known and is realized by faith in Christ. It is not so much feelings as it is the reality of His Presence with us, helping us spiritually, even though we do not feel it. It is a love relationship. We are meant to be rooted and grounded in Christ's love so that we might make progress in holiness. Christ is continually with you, and you are, at all times, separated unto God's purposes for you. When Christ is revealing more of Himself to you through His word, it says here, that it is so that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. In this regard, Paul says in verse 20 that God is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that you can ask or think, according to the power that is working in you. And so I would like us to ponder together the dimensions of Christ's love. 1st of all – The exceeding width of Christ's love. 2nd – The exceeding length of Christ's love. 3rd – The exceeding depth of Christ's love. And 4th – The exceeding height of Christ's love. These are the dimensions of Christ love which Paul believes that we should think about together.
