The CHURCH in Laodicea — an entire church — received these shocking words from Christ:
Revelation 3:15-16, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.â€
I hope you see from this that you can't take refuge in your church attendance, membership, or baptism. Indeed! Salvation is housed not in the church we attend — even church members can be spit out of Christ's mouth. In fact forgive me for the strong statement but,
• Are you a spit wad? Someone who someday God is going to spit out of His mouth? • Are you a false believer? • Is your Christianity a fake? • Are you a SHAM?
