There is no preaching of repentance that demands radical conversion. There is no preaching of doctrine that prostrates the sinner before God in a humility that can cry for nothing but the grace of God! There is not enough power in the pulpit to put man in his place and God in His. Radical conversions are rare because radical preaching is rare. And the rarity of radical conversions is an undeniable affirmation of the rarity of true preaching.
